#MonthlyProject - Halte Transit Dukuh Atas
Seperti biasa, aku menunggu bis transjakarta untuk membawaku pulang secepatnya. Bawaanku hari ini lebih berat dari biasanya dan aku hanya ingin segera merebahkan badan di kasur kosanku yang sudah mulai apek.
Sayangnya, bis jurusan yang biasanya aku naiki tidak muncul di layar pemberitahuan bis selanjutnya. Hanya ada bis-bis lain dengan waktu sampai yang berdekatan. Selang 5 menit aku menunggu, aku memutuskan untuk naik bis jurusan Ragunan-Dukuh Atas. Biarlah meski harus transit 3x, yang penting aku mau duduk dan tidur sejenak.
Tanpa basa-basi aku pun langsung duduk dan mencari kursi dekat jendela supaya kepalaku bisa bersender di badan bis dan terlelap sebentar. Entah di halte ke berapa, ada seorang laki-laki yang duduk di sebelahku sambil memainkan handphonenya. Aku hanya sempat melirik sebentar tanpa memfokuskan pada wajahnya. Lalu kembali asik dengan playlist musikku.
Lagu Adhitya Sofyan- Dunia Parallel terputar secara shuffle, tanpa disengaja aku menyandarkan kepala ke jendela bis dan mulai ikut bernyanyi pelan sambil melihat jalananan yang sudah lebih sepi. Bisa aku rasakan beberapa kali orang yang duduk disebelahku melirik, tapi aku terlalu malas untuk menolehkan kepala.
Tanpa sadar, aku pelan-pelan mulai tertidur.
Aku terbangun ketika petugas pintu bis menginformasikan halte terakhir,Halte Transit Dukuh Atas. Perlahan-laha ku regangkan kembali otot-ototku yang terasa kebas akibat tertidur di bis. Kini giliran Ali Gatie dengan lagunya It’s You yang bermain.
Aku pun mulai bersiap-siap turun. Laki-laki yang duduk disebelahku sudah lebih dulu berdiri di pintu belakang sedangkan aku berjalan ke pintu depan. Karena pandanganku yang buram aku tidak bisa jelas melihat mukanya, apalagi hanya terlihat profil kirinya dari arahku berdiri. Pintu terbuka, penumpang bis pun turun berhamburan berusaha untuk keluar secepatnya.
Aku masih harus naik transit satu kali lagi sebelum sampai ke kosan. Bis tujuan selanjutnya masih belum tersedia, terpaksan masih harus menunggu sekitar 15 menit lagi. Bosan, aku hanya bermain dengan aplikasi yang ada di handphone pintarku. Laki-laki yang tadi duduk disebelahku juga ternyata sama-sama menunggu bis yang sama. Tapi kini dia berdiri jauh dibelakang dan aku ada di barisan paling depan. Tas laptop berwarna merahnya mencolok, makannya kenapa aku bisa tahu walau tidak harus melihat wajahnya.
Penantian 15 menit pun selesai, petugas bis transjakarta mengumumkan jurusan Pulo Gadung-Harmoni segera datang. Aku pun memasukan handphone ke saku depan tasku. Maroon 5 - Memories baru saja terdengar dari aplikasi musikku. Pintu bis terbuka, penumpang yang sudah menunggu mulai berebutan untuk masuk supaya dapat tempat duduk. Aku terpaksa harus berdiri di dekat pintu, lagi pula aku harus turun untuk transit di halte Manggarai.
Tepat ketika pintu bis mulai tertutup, laki-laki yang duduk disebelahku di bis pertama berdiri tepat di depan pintu yang tertutup. Mataku terbelalak kaget, dan dia hanya tersenyum lebar melihat wajahku. Bis pun mulai melaju dan dia melambaikan tangan sambil menggerakkan mulutnya tanpa suara “Hati-hati”.
Bis melaju dengan kecepatan stabil, dan aku masih saja mematung tidak percaya dengan apa yang aku lihat. Laki-laki itu, orang dari masa lalu yang tidak akan pernah aku sangka akan bertemu di kota ini. Masih dengan perasaan campur aduk, lagu Memories pun berhenti bermain namun aku sudah tidak lagi peduli.

December, 2016.
December was a rediscovery of the meaning of home.
December was falling snow, hitting each other with snowballs, peaceful moments in the car. It was a brother loudly singing annoying songs at you multiple times. It was a winter ale shared with family while making dinner. It was dog sitting a pup that made you want to adventure.
December was realizing that the little moments at home are often filled with magic. December was a Christmas tree that filled the whole apartment with its glorious smell. It was turning on the Christmas tree lights at the end of a long day and letting those be the only source of illumination. December was a beautiful sunset two days after a heavy snowfall. It was a quiet morning filled with coffee, it was a bustling day with a sunny afternoon.
December was wishing I could be home and then realizing that I already was. December was pastels being the most beautiful and recognizing that not everything incredible in life is bright. December was a ripple effect. A calming motion. A reminder of peacefulness. It was the loss of leaves making room for snow. One beauty exchanged for another.
December was a stubborn dog. It was a reminder that even when it’s good for you, sometimes you just don’t want to do things, but you have to, and that’s okay. December was a peaceful plane ride that made you forget all of your troubles. December was landing in California without sunglasses and being blind for 3 days. It was acceptance. It was growth.
December was a coughing fit and laughter filling an otherwise quiet moment. December was realizing that not everything is perfect and that’s what makes life so imperfectly beautiful. December was the desire to travel growing stronger and stronger. It was reflecting on a year of change. It was listening to Beach House while being near the beach and wanting to be in Europe.
December was a rediscovery of the meaning of home.
