A deep sigh can be heard outside his door. Perhaps it is familiar to his ears, and the ears of the other inmates lining the corridor if they heard it: she’s put enough of them away enough times, they ought to remember her, even if it had been a few years.
A telltale cop’s knock rings out shortly after the sigh is heard.
Joker. It’s Montoya. GCP- well, formerly GCPD. Currently working an independent investigation, so to speak. Got a few questions for you. Can I-, uh, come in?
She put up a hand to stop the Arkham orderly from unlocking the door - she wanted to wait, ask for permission first, let him decide. Not out of respect, necessarily, because she had little love for the Joker, but to gauge his mood, where his head was at tonight. She needed to know who was on the other side of that door so she could ascertain how to get the answers she needed.

The clown’s laughter could be heard on the other side of the door. Not his usual cackles -yet- but something more akin to genuine amusement. He truly thought after Montoya quit, he’d never see the cop again! What a turn of events indeed!
He wondered what she wanted, it wasn’t everyday he got visitors after all! Let alone those without a costume.
He missed his suit.
What the hell? She’d come in anyways. Besides he was curious.

Im so invested in this Spanish reality show. So Montoya guy sort of cheated on his gf (got a lap dance, a girl humped his face and sucked his tits). All was shown on an iPad to his gf and she literally ran away crying. Then gf wanted revenge and had sex with Papa frita guy. Montoya saw it happen in real time on a tv. He proceeded to freak the fuck out and ran through the beach screaming n crying.
THEN GF GOT IDK… FELT BAD? IDK? AND IS ASKING HIM TO FORGIVE HER AND TAKE HER BACK??!? WHAAAT?!?

Been watching a lot of DCAU stuff lately and I had this idea to draw a group of the less colorful public figures of Gotham. I'm kicking myself a bit for not putting Leslie Thompkins in here but I intended this to be more focused on the political/law enforcement side of things.
