Avantika is filming a dcom right now and doafp is filming so do you think that means Monyca wont be in it?

Maybe but maybe not. Filming hasn’t actually started yet for Doafp as of this weekend as Charlie confirmed on twitter, production has resumed and filming will resume soon. Spin the Disney Channel movie Avantika is starring in is filming in Toronto from October 5th to November 20th 2020. Obviously with covid still raging out of control in the USA and numbers climbing in most of Canada, one or both productions could easily face minor or even major delays. Visitors coming to Canada need to quarantine for 14 days and I’d hope that there’s a similar policy in place for productions in California so assuming Avantika wrapped in Toronto in late November she probably wouldn’t be available for doafp until early December. So at the very least Monyca wouldn’t be in at least the first few eps they film (which may not be in order anyway) which would make sense since doesn’t need a big role anymore now that her and Bobby are broken up. Then again the scripts are likely all written for S2 at this point and the fact that Avantika was able to land the lead role in a Disney movie suggests that she could well not be in the show anymore. And frankly it would be for the best if Monyca is never seen or mentioned again, much like how letting Cyrus date and kiss Iris twice turned out to be a disastrous mistake, it’s likely that having Bobby kiss and date a girl isn’t going to age well when compared to what, if anything, that Bobby will be allowed to do with any potential male love interest
