These are just screen caps of some of the slides from my presentation on my Lonely City new media project.  The first one is how I'm trying to tackle the problem (trying to get people to connect to the city rather than connect to each other directly) and the other three are mood boards. One tool that I've been utilizing way more this semester in all my work in mood boarding and brain storming (mainly mood boarding). I've started to build a bit of a reputation amongst a friend or two that when in a slump it's time to mood board. Mood boarding tends to inspire me and gets me back on the right track. How does something feel? Mood board it How are others doing similar things? Mood board it Also along with these mood boards I've started to use Keynote quite a bit. I didn't believe my core studio instructors that keynote is one of their most used programs but it has very quickly become mine. Why? Because I can make great looking mood boards in minutes (a long with the aide of tumblr and pinterest) with it.
