If Atlas is making all this up, it’s probably because they’ve been fending for their life for a long time from Raife. Planting the seed of doubt in MC’s mind about their friends is the way that Atlas can make MC do what they want (i.e. what Atlas thinks needs to be done). This is probably the best way they know to protect MC: Lessen the number of people they trust, and hence, have to worry about, whether that be the safety of the people in question or the chance that they might be betrayed by them. 

Atlas would rather not be with people; that’s for certain. 

Their behaviour fits their given name so much tbh. Moon twin Atlas is named after the Titan Atlas in Greek mythology, who carries the weight of all the heavens on his shoulders, just as Atlas is essentially trying to handle Raife Highmore on their own.

Moon-Att head canon

I’ve been reading (and thinking) about what makes a Moon-att and this is what I’ve come up with.

The Sun is very commonly associated with positivity, fun, warmth, success and vitality. So that’s how we got the description below:

Sun-Atts have an optimistic outlook on life, are very loyal, and are skilled at getting people to work together. They are quite sensitive to their environments, and then to thrive only in the ones that are right for them. Often Sun-Atts need to find their niche in order to bloom to their full potential.

The Moon on the other hand is categorized together with illusion, fear, anxiety, the subconscious and intuition. More often than not, the Moon also represents scared knowledge.

With that, I came up with a rough description that hopefully summarises our Moon-att twin: (I remember learning the Moon-att spell and Shreya mentioning how Moon Magick usually manipulates emotion and whatsoever, so)

Moon-atts are the most intuitive and introspective type out of all the Attuned. Skilled in reading emotions and ulterior motives, they often find it difficult to open up to strangers and require deep emotional connection before being able to trust completely. Moon-atts often spend their time withdrawn from the crowd and in their vivid minds, and find themselves prone to giving into their fears and anxiety.
