Achilles
Achilles
Achilles come down, won't you
Get up off
Get up off the roof?
You're scaring us
And all of us
Some of us love you
Achilles, it's not much but there's proof

On how to balance complete exposure of unending nerves and flesh and blood pulsing and constantly as the waves of pressure and anxiety with the ability to be emotionally withheld, not all cards already dealt Have you been in tune with all this shit you’ve felt? One day I’m gonna push myself to open a new space inside this disconnected face I’m always ready to change myself again Attempt to reverse some of the damage been dealt I haven’t felt completely one with myself of course the awareness of this being a form of illness comes and goes, some days, I know others, not a damn clue I hold, just constantly impeding my ability to be bold For the amount I’ve been told
“your mouth is gonna get you in trouble”
it sure is saving my ass, gonna continue to get my mouth mixed into this mess of madness or sadness Where we at now? Waxing Gibbous
I'm so done.
Personal Feels </3
Losing someone close to you really sucks, and it sucks more when those feelings sneak up on you late at night, when you're alone. And you realize it’s been 2 years, and you still hurt like it’s that moment you got the call.
*howls at the moon*
staring at the moon makes me want to get all romantic and by romantic I mean make out and hold hands..
There is something so satisfying in owning a whole island. And isn't an uninhabited island a charming idea? I'd wanted to own one ever since I'd read Robinson Crusoe....And beauty! Most of the scenery belongs to the government, but they don't tax you for looking at it, and the moon belongs to everybody.
Barney Snaith, in The Blue Castle, by L. M. Montgomery
Fate has ordained that the men who went to the moon to explore in peace will stay on the moon to rest in peace. These brave men, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice. These two men are laying down their lives in mankind’s most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding. They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by their nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown. In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man. In ancient days, men looked at stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood. Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man’s search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts. For every human being who looks up at the moon in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
Richard Nixon's speech, In Event of Moon Disaster
