I opened my pallet for the first time in years
Found her fur embedded in my watercolor cakes
Choking
I used to walk around and see the world painted
Something inside me I needed to see on paper
Keeping myself busy so that when it finds me, I am already going, commiting myself to documenting
Choking
Leaving a trace behind wasn't always a thought in my mind
Wandering deeper into the maze, I stayed, and my body walked away
I don't know how I am anymore
But I want to paint
Commit myself to documenting again
Years spent destroying evidence
I don't think there's much left
And no one has the patience to get in my head
So it stays there, ecosystems in place
But they no longer keep things safe
It's become a hostile environment
Greener pastures, louder laughter
I painted the most when we talked the most
Choking
When I think back, I can't remember if I ever knew how to be open
Intimacy ignites the fear
I will tell you about the moth I found, the process of laminating pastry until flaky, the insanity between the 2 primary color wheels and colors that don't have a wave to match, teach how to do anything I know how, give you my knowledge
Enthusiastic and precise
I can show you a world of things, but I don't know how to share me
