I made a short Danny Phantom animatic of the motherly song "Della's Moon Lullaby" from Ducktales 2017 featuring Maddie Fenton and her dearest son, Daniel "Danny" Fenton.

Maddie may be a scientist and a ghost hunter, but she is also a loving mother. She is not perfect, she also commits mistakes, and she tried to keep her family from falling apart. She may be sometimes ignorant to her kids due to her work, but you could see how she really loved her kids.

And also, Danny also loved the stars and the wonders of outer space, so the moon lullaby fits for him. ❤️

The nicknames are very nice, aren’t they? ^-^

Well, he says Sweet Little Stars to them everytime he sings the lullaby. The version here being “Sweet little stars, you have so much to see~”

But if you ask if he ever calls Donald and Della like that normally... I think not. He may have said it once, in a very emotional moment, like in the end of season two when Della says the kids are her family and she can’t lose them again, I can see Dewey going:

“You’re my sweet little stars, I can lose you again!”

But that aside, no, he doesn’t call them by these nicknames.

So, I’ve been watching a few key episodes of Ducktales to fill in my spoiler bingo card before my first full rewatch. (yes I’m weird)

Moonvasion! *watching normally like a normal person*

Louie: *starts to sing the lullaby*

Me: *immediately starts actual tears*

This show is just amazing. Full quality.

Della Duck VO! I think she’s so cool and hilarious! But being an oldie, I lost my shit when she sang her lullaby to the moon theme via the Duck Tales Nintendo game! So I had to do it. Sorry, I’am not a professional singer but I love this song. yeah..gotta pick up on this VO practicing thing..
