Ayo first 2023 post let's goooo! I swear I ain't dead. Well, meet Noctua! My new mascot, and I'll be sharing its story here on Tumblr because why not? Just click to see more below if you'd like to read!

Noctua is a starborn. On my universe/story, all stars living beings that are "hibernating". Most of these stars have past lives (and they keep all memories from all lives), and being a star is basically their last reincarnation. Some didn't have had past lifes, and are more curious and naive than the reincarnation ones.

When a supernova happens, these stars get a "physical form" and are called starborns. Their appearance can vary a bunch and they all have different special habilites. They don't have genitals nor gender, but they can end up choosing some pronouns if they want.

Noctua is a last reincarnation, and has habilities moon related while its partner has habilities sun related. Noctua has a strong bound with the moons, treating and protecting them like they are its children. It can have a cute face, but it is a VERY moody owl and kinda chaotic sometimes, the only who can calm it down is Ridan (its partner). Noctua and Ridan know each other since the first life. Their ship dynamic is "bound by fate" and in all reincarnations they always found each other and fell in love again and again. Their first life was Raf (my fursona) and Cy (my partner's sona)! <3

Today I met this person named Zoe! 🌚 told me that 🌘 likes dogs, so I told 🌕 all about my dog, Loki! 🧣 thought he was super cute, everyone does ^^ I had to promise 🧸 that 🧦 would get to pet him sometime! :] 🐶 also told me that 🌙 likes listening to music! ☁️ suggested that we compare playlists, 🌕s sense of music is so good!! ⭐s playlist was full of all my favorite songs! 🧦 had so many great reccomendations as well! ☁️ also told me 🐑 likes pretty girls, so I was like "Ohhh Zoe do you have any crushes?" and 🧸 started talking about all the pretty girls 🌠's seen. 🐶 had to ask me if I like girls, too, so I had to tell 🧣 about my girlfriend. 🌠 also likes stickers!!! I told 🌙 that was super cool, because, well, it is! And I showed 🌚 my room, 🌘 thought the stickers on my walls were super cool! 🐑 asked how I got them on so I told ⭐ I used blu-tack (I think that's what it's called??? In my country we call it "teacher gum" /srs), so that I can use them later on without them being ruined. I let 🌠 have my minecraft pride bee because 🌘 is just so awesome!! I had fun with ☁️, I hope 🌕 had fun with me, too :]

In the medieval au, are there going to be antagonists or obstacles during the quest to become human? There is the risk of the fae as mentioned and discussed but what about something that is more dire? Maybe the teens who wanted to spite the princess see their "friend" leave the castle with the princess's statue come to life and learn of their plans. Angry at their friend for going against their wishes, they plan to destroy Lake Fawn into a pile of rubble and leave their friend heartbroken.

Jesse’s friends probably won’t know the statue is alive, but since I think Jesse and Lake end up leaving town to go search for the moon god, and it’s the same time that the statue goes missing, they’ll 100% rat Jesse out to the Royal Guards and say that he stole it, and they’ll be on their tails for a good portion of the story, if at a distance. So not Jesse’s friends, but the guards?

Tbh the main ongoing conflict is probably just gonna be trying to hide Lake from the prying eyes of suspicious townsfolk. I don’t know if this is the era when people got burned at the stake for whitchcraft but I think if it was people would definitely try and kill Lake for it. Not that fire can kill stone, but it’s a confrontation they’d want to avoid regardless
