PROF. ANDREW MARSTON’S TWIN THEORY(?) INCOMING📢📢

(I used different videos from a different ASMRtist, Moonlight Haven to piece the info out. Sorry for the messy organization but feel free to check out their videos if it’s too complicated on mine)

Honestly, I'm pretty sure Andrew’s twin is Darius from “The Mafia Series” on Moonlight Haven’s channel.

In the season one finale of Andrew’s series, “Strict Professor Loves You,” he mentions that his twin studied biomedical science and is probably involved in shady business. After a falling out with their parents, his twin left, and they haven’t been in contact since.

In Moonlight Haven’s mafia video, “The New Recruit,” we’re introduced to Helios’ right-hand man and best friend, Darius, who also studied biomedical science (mentioned in “Infiltration” and “The Mafia Boss’ Plan”).

Helios also said he once had a falling out with a family member and now they don’t keep in touch, which matches what Andrew told us. He further explains how Darius had a rebellious nature to him and takes it that he lived a very sheltered life: “—always being told what to do and how to act and behave and always being compared to someone and told that you’re inferior to them.” (“The New Recruit”, “The Mafia Boss’ Plan”, and “Christmas With Your Strict Professor”)

It was briefly mentioned in the video “Spending Time with the Mafia Boss” that Darius frequents London (where Andrew and Darling live) to figure some things out under the possible guise of a business meeting which Helios guesses is to ‘check up on them’. (Just throwing it out there—Darius used to live and study in London, maybe even with Andrew, if he really is the twin.)

It was also said that Darius has something (a package) very important to give to someone, to the point of entrusting it only to the person he trusts most, then getting angry at Helios for just leaving it in his office with the door unlocked—because he can’t risk it being stolen.

Although faint, you can hear Helios saying, “—You’re talking about the/your brother, right…?” which might mean it’s for Andrew.

And even though Darius refuses to elaborate to Helios about who this person is, he mentions it’s someone he was (or is) very close with. (“The Mafia Boss’ Plan”)

Also, fun thing to point out: when Listener (Rookie/Boy) and Helios entered Darius’ office, he speculates that the architecture and general style of the room don’t just feel like Darius but also someone else—as if there’s a part of another person he brought along with him, although he admits he may just be looking into things.

He mentions the design is “—oddly chaotic within itself yet the symmetricality and organization is almost deathly precise.”

“And the color scheme—it’s so professional. The hues/use of light and dark brown paint…If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought that this was a professor’s office—but the lining of black paint here gives off a sense of rebellion in its own way. Very fitting of Darius, in my opinion.“ (“The Mafia Boss’ Plan”)

Despite their estranged relationship, it’s obvious Darius still cares for his brother, enough to incorporate his style into his office and highlighting just how important this package—which from what I can faintly hear during the ‘Choose Your Destiny’ moment, is a letter—is to him.

With all this, I’m confident Darius is Andrew’s twin. Maybe we’ll see him at the finale of Andrew’s series, maybe we won’t. But, who knows?

Really sorry for the complicated and messy explanation. Either way, I hope to see our beloved professor again with all the loving moments for one last time. From professor to lover, he’ll always hold a special place in my heart, as the very first ASMR audio I ever listened to, three years ago.🥹

Title: Every Step of the Way

WIP: Moonlight Haven

Pairing: Jacob & gender neutral!reader (platonic)

When you enter the lobby, Jacob looks up from his seat behind the desk. The smile on his face grows wider, but though he looks happy, even proud, a tiny spark of sadness dims his eyes. “So this is farewell, then?”

Your pack weighs heavy on your shoulders, thought it doesn’t hold much more than what you came here with. You clutch the straps, looking around at the warm, lovely room - it would be so easy to stay here for a day, a week, a month longer, without having to face the outside world, without the threat of the curse on your back. 

Part of you still wants it. It wheedles, shouts, cajoles you into shaking your head and heading back up the stairs to the room you’ve called home for the past few months, dumping your pack onto the chair. Life here is easy. It’s comfortable. It’s warm, welcoming, happy, even - in the time that you stayed here, you smiled more than you have in the past year. 

But Jacob told you his story for a reason. And it wasn’t to convince you to stay. 

“Yeah.” Your voice is low, quiet, but it doesn’t shake as much as you thought it would. “I guess it is.”

Jacob rises from his seat, walks around the desk to stand in front of you. In the moment that you stand there together, just looking at each other, you almost feel like you’ve gone back in time - the scene feels oddly reminiscent of the day after you arrived, when Jacob helped you into one of the soft chairs right behind you and helped clean your scrapes. 

The wounds have healed now, though. Not even the faintest scars line your skin, and you no longer feel like the wind could knock you over with a well-aimed gust. You are stronger now, both in body and in mind. 

Which is why it is time to go. 

“Remember that it is possible,” Jacob says, smiling. 

Your lips curve upwards in a poor imitation of his expression, your own tinged with fear and uncertainty, but it’s genuine, at least. “I know,” you say, latching onto the thread of certainty in his voice. “I know.”

“It’s scary,” Jacob says. You almost laugh at his words because scared is just the base emotion of what you feel right now - terror, fear, anxiety at going out into the open for the first time in months - but he takes your hand and the hysterical laugh melts away. “I know it is, but I also know that you’re brave, Y/N. You can overcome it.”

The whisper falls from your lips before you can rein it in. “What if I can’t?”

“You can.” He doesn’t miss a beat. “I know you can.”

The surety in his words brings tears to your eyes. You blink quickly, praying they won’t fall down your face, but then one slides down. And another. 

Jacob wipes them away without a word. The smile never leaves his face. 

You take a deep breath, willing the tears away. “Thank you,” you say, voice trembling. “Thank you for everything.”

“It’s no problem.” Jacob’s smile softens. “Good luck, Y/N.”

You take another breath, then nod. Try to smile. “Thanks,” you say, and then you turn around and open the door. 

The second you step outside, the familiar but unfamiliar feeling of voices calling for you to look back, to stare into eyes glassed over with the sheen of two deaths that you caused. You freeze - your heart starts to pound and your fight or flight response screams for you to run back inside where the curse can’t get you and slam the door shut - but you swallow. Stare at the street outside, the sun beginning to peek over the trees.

You push the door shut behind you. 

Step by step, you find your way to the sidewalk. You stay there for a moment, looking out onto the street. There are no cars now, not just yet. Fewer people to see you if you break down right now. 

The voices call for you, urge you to look back and see the destruction you caused. You almost look back - you really do - but the overwhelming fear of your curse keeps your head snapped straight forward. 

Slowly, slowly, you rotate your feet, turn a careful half circle until you’re looking at where you came out of just a few minutes ago. Only the inn is gone, now - you’re looking at blank space. Moonlight Haven has disappeared. 

You’re truly alone. 

Tears burst from your eyes and you squat down, uselessly wiping away the tears slipping down your cheeks. They keep coming, harder and faster until you can’t see anything in front of you but a blur of grass and trees and cold concrete, nothing like the warmth of the inn you left behind. 

You fumble in your pockets for a tissue or a napkin to sop up the wetness on your skin. Then you frown. 

What comes out of your pocket isn’t a tissue. It isn’t even a napkin. It’s a sheet of folded paper, torn on one edge. Wiping away the last of the tears, you unfold it. 

Alice blue. 

The hex code of the paint that colored your walls stares back, the entire page covered in that light shade of blue. Jacob’s voice echoes in the back of your head, a reminder of the day he told you his story. 

“The walls of your room change with your mood. Do you remember what color they were when you first got here?”

Blue. Deep, dark blue, like an ocean eager to drown you beneath its surface.

“What are they now?”

Still blue, but pale, lovely, soft. Gentle. 

“Look at how much you’ve changed since you came here.”

There are words scribbled across the page, words in a familiar handwriting that makes tears prick at your eyes once more. 

I’m still with you, every step of the way. 

Your eyes burn as you stand, carefully folding the page along its creases once more. You don’t know when Jacob managed to sneak that into your pocket, but you do know that he tore that page out of his precious book of colors to give you this. To give you encouragement. To remind you that even though you may never see him again, Jacob’s kindness, his empathy, his words will always be with you, no matter what. 

You look forward into the space where Moonlight Haven was. You take a deep breath. 

One. 

Two. 

Three. 

You crane your neck back, and turn around.
