Ten Facts Challenge

Rules: write ten facts about yourself and then tag 10 followers you’d like to know more about. 

I was tagged by the wonderful @moonrisemagick per usual, which means you guys get to learn 10 more things about me that you probably didn't need to know!

1. My life is one filled with post- it notes. they’re on my bed, under my bed, in my phone case, on my computer, the extra monitor, the tv, in my closet, on the mirror, E v e r y w h e r e. I bought a 27 pack of post-it note pads and i’ve already charged through 2 pads. I use them for origami sometimes, and I specialize in dragons and cubes.

2. Despite the witch obsession with tea, there's only one kind of tea I actually like. Teavana’s Kona Pop! It’s pineapple-y and sweet and its fantastic...... too bad Teavana is closing......

3. I have 5 plant children! A Kalanchoe Tomentosa “Panda Plant” named Tomo, An Unknown breed of Succulent named Yvaine, and Three Kalanchoe Tomentosa “Fangs” named Primus, Secondus and Tertius. They’re my babies and I love them. 

4. I started a bullet journal in the second week of February and I have my pages created halfway through June. 

5. When I have a decision I cant make, I roll a D20 to help me make the choice. 

6. I have an obsession with sunflower seeds that stems from when my grandparents and mom would take me to the rodeo when I was a kid. The Rescue team are my favorite members of the rodeo. 

7. My favorite non-witchy hobby is binge watching shows. I love The Magicians, Charmed, Arrow, Happy!, and especially Altered Carbon. 

8. My Favorite spells are often the ones that get the least amount of notes. With the exception of Maleficent’s Curse.

9. I'm often disappointed that more people dont interact with me on this blog. I love talking to people about my spells and magick and the practice. 

10. My favorite kind of food is bread! My Favorite kind of bread is Peasant Bread! Its slightly sweet and soft and comes in the form of buns. I get mine from a little store on the local reservation back home.

Yuri Plisetsky’s “Find Your Agape” Spread

(Inspired by @red-moon-witch‘s spells, part 4 of the @yurionicetarotproject series)

Yurio’s character arc involved him learning how to balance his ambition with things that gave him fulfillment: stable relationships, time to do the things he loves, etc. His problem is the opposite of Yuuri’s, which is what makes the two characters so interesting. Inspired by Yurio’s network of influences, here’s a spread that will help you find balance in your own life! Personal affiliations are below but as always interpreting is up to you!

1. Grandpa Plisetsky: Yurio’s grandfather has supported him from the very beginning in everything that he does. What emotional supports do you have to fall back on currently? How can you use them to your advantage?

2. Yakov and Lilia: Yurio’s coaches have been pushing him to live out his fullest potential. They constantly put pressure on him, but this is because they know he is capable and can work with their criticisms. What forces are acting on you right now? How can you figure out a way to minimize or maximize their influence?

3. Victor and Yuuri: These two are major role models for Yuri, but also represent potential traps for him. Victor pushed himself to the point where he sacrificed everything that made him happy for the sake of his sport, and Yuuri was too afraid to get out of his comfort zone so that he can find someplace that will make him happier. What potential traps are waiting for you? How can you avoid them?

4. Otabek: As a new presence in Yurio’s life (though he’s known him for ages), Otabek reminds him that it’s ok to take a break and enjoy time with the people you care about. What new, helpful forces are coming your way? Is there some beneficial factor that you’ve been missing?

5. Yuri: We end with the core of the matter: the key to finding balance. Yurio was able to do it with the help of his family. What is the main take away of this spread? What is the key thing you will need to remember in order to find balance?
