just a few details to add:
though softcho as a username was taken on youtube, it was available on instagram, but Cho chose to stay on brand and kept softiecho as a username. Cedric and Luna decided to make softcho an instagram purely for posting pictures of Cho not paying attention. there are many of her sleeping.
Cho recently got a kitten (the video on her instagram) and whilst she named her kitten Salem (referencing Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which she thought was funny) Luna decided his name was Rupert, and will only ever call him Rupert

fjdcskfj thlaise for the boarding school au thank you sm
Theo is small when he enters Hogwarts Boarding, friendless and quiet; but he’s made of money and accepted wordlessly in with the rich and famous, trailing behind them like a third, fourth, fifth, wheel. He sits with no-one opposite him at the dinner table and someone bathing in money on his left and turns his food over with his fork, night after night, leaving unfinished meals and nervous stomachaches.
“You should eat,” a voice advises; it’s tones lower than most peoples’ area at this age, all high and squeaky, and Theo looks up into the dark and half-twinkling eyes of a boy with skin the colour of his mother’s favourite 70% cocoa chocolate who has taken the seat opposite him; he knows the boy, too, because he’s one of the wealthy, but always one at the front of the group, smirking and making sharp remarks - never at the back. “You’ll grow up to be pretty if you eat.”
“But aren’t models thin?” Theo points out, gesticulating with a jab of his fork; the other boy’s lips tug up, and he laughs, really laughs: it’s a sound different to the hollow chuckle he puts on in front of everybody else, this one all deep and belly. He just shakes his head; Theo’s remark rings true, after all.
“I’m Blaise,” he says. “Nobody’s told me your name.”
“Theodore,” Theo says. “Er, Theo.”
-
Theo is still small in their fourth year; Blaise has sprouted up, and so have the girls, but he’s short and thinks he might spend the rest of his life that way; he’s ill, too, so sickly that even if he were to grow it would be stunted. Blaise sticks with him, of course; him and Blaise have been inseparable ever since that first moment, those first forkfuls of food - Blaise doesn’t care for money in the same way that Theo doesn’t; he flirts with the company, with the group, and maintains the personable face, keeping Theo socially afloat.
Theo takes particularly ill in January of their fourth year; he develops cluster headaches and paces the common room or his dorm room, or if it’s really bad, wanders up and down the corridors, pausing now and then to rest his head against a wall and resist the urge to slam it there. Blaise tries to spend enough time in class to appease his teachers; when he judges he’s done enough, he takes to the corridors and finds Theo, winds their fingers together and lets Theo squeeze so hard it leaves marks.
“Easy there, tiger,” Blaise will say soothingly; his voice has dropped, because he’s doing everything so fast, like it’s a race and he’s cruising effortlessly past the other runners, and it’s reassuring in its warm tones. Theo buries his face into Blaise’s shoulder, clings to him, breathes.
Pain is nothing when he’s distracted; Blaise is every distraction.
-
His cluster headaches go into remission by the time he comes back for fifth year; he looks like he’s aged prematurely when he comes back, having sprouted up to what he predicts will be his permanent height, with dark bags under his eyes and hair that’s beginning to look thin where it used to be thick, something Blaise enjoyed running his hand through and mussing affectionately.
Theo doesn’t feel much up to the first dinner of the year: he pokes at it and moves it around his plate; Blaise leans forward, an eyebrow quirked. “You should eat,” he says, and pauses for a moment - “but you’re already pretty.”
Theo grins; they kiss in their dorm, later, for the first time - it feels like it’s happened already, a thousand times, because they’ve held hands and squeezed them and touched foreheads and in all regards kissed, but this is the first time their lips have really touched and it’s so much slower than Theo expected, Blaise stroking slow trails across his back, tenderly soft.
“You’re going to be alright this year, tiger,” he says, and Theo tries to believe; it’s so much easier, when Blaise says it, because he trusts Blaise like everything.
-
Sixth year is hell, because Theo’s cluster headaches return; but Blaise just stops bothering going to class when Theo is out - he doesn’t care, after all, in the end, how his results go. He’ll find a job; he could probably become a model with the snap of his fingers, and so he can afford to spend a year corridor-wandering. Theo wants to take his exams, but his head’s too busy exploding half the time for him to work.
Blaise stays. He works his fingers through Theo’s hair, talks him through every headache, sits up through Theo’s insomniac nights and laughs warmly with him. They don’t care, and kiss in the corridors, grinning into each others’ mouths, treasuring every single moment of each other, because all the moments outside of those just don’t matter.
“What do we do once school is over?” Theo asks one night in the sixth year common room, just after the night’s movie is finished, perched on one edge of the sofa; Blaise is sitting on the floor and kissing across Theo’s hands, small and neat with clipped fingernails, sensitive just in the centre of his palm.
“What do you mean, what do we do? We continue,” Blaise shrugs. He lifts himself up from the floor and takes a seat next to Theo, stroking the back of his hand before leaning in to press their lips together; Theo lets his own hands rest on Blaise’s thighs. “I love you. It’s not as if school is going to end and we give up on each other, is it?”
Theo smiles, resting his head against Blaise’s. He feels like he might exist entirely in bliss like this. “No, not really.”
“Good. Because I’m not going to leave you.”
