001 | Send me a fandom and I will tell you my:
edmund. 100%. if you know me, you know my favourite is that lad. he has an arc, has distinguishable growth, is interesting to read, and sparks discussion. he’s also multifaceted, and he leaves much room for interpretation. he’s my favourite kind of character. i could be here all day, so i’ll just leave it at that !
Least Favorite character:
oof, um. i think, digory’s uncle. he was ... horrid. genuinely terrible, and with how he tricked polly, it really got to me. he was so cruel. i couldn’t even enjoy him in a villainous sense, he just upset me.
5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon):
well, my favourite ship is casmund, 100%. and then, lucy x lilliandil. and then, if ocs count, susan x charlotte grovener, and peter x gavriel . and then as a fifth, which is actually quite a new ship i’ve found, is lasaraleen and susan !
Character I find most attractive:
for most of the franchise, they’re children, so i’ve no attraction to any of them. but, in a horse and his boy, edmund was kind of a romantic awakening for me when i was quite young? it was the battle scene where he lopped someone’s head off. take from that what you will lmao
just out of headcanon alone, caspian? i have a bit of an au when he’s a good while into his reign and he’s really amusing to write. i think he’d make an entertaining partner ??
Character I would be best friends with:
oh, probably susan. she seems really good to get on with, though i like to think i’d get on just as well with lucy. both in moderation, though, because with susan’s escapism and lucy’s reckless positivity i’d be overwhelmed pretty easily.
with the new netflix series coming out, i’m holding out hope for cast members that support the minorities in fandom, and push towards minority exposure in the series’ and movies themselves, be it in diverse casting or established lgbtqia+ characters, if the chance arises.
isn’t everything unpopular this week? lmao. i dislike the ending of the last battle. not for the lack of susan, but for 1) how susan is spoken about, and 2) the lack of follow-up about susan and her journey through life without her family and how she coped in such a climate herself. i wish we had insight to that. but i suppose that’s what fanfic is for!
i don’t ....... have one. rip!
for skill, edmund. for tenacity in starting a rebellion, caspian. in general? aravis. i love her, she’s strong, determined, and someone to look up to. she’s also fun to read!
jadis. i hate her, and that’s a good thing. she was written to be hated, and i adore it. it’s good for me, to see a villain i despise so much be brought to justice, especially considering what she was meant to mirror.
Pairing I am not a fan of:
i’m not a fan of suspian tbh.
Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another):
oh g-d. the movies? everyone. but mostly, susan and lucy. they were done horribly, and i have posts concerning that. polly was done dirty af in the last battle, too.
Character I most identify with:
i most identify with edmund. it’s a long story, but i’m quite pleased with it.
Character I wish I could be:
i wish i could have a story like lucy’s. let me find a magical land, please, i’m begging you,
