love this one, it’s my fav btw. ♥
Kang-tae didn’t heal Moon-young.
I really appreciate how the writer didn’t directly involve Kang-tae in her journey. The ones who had a massive impact on her are her own father, her own students, and her own writing.
It’s true that Kang-tae looked for her when she was walking in the rain, that he fixed her hair for her, that he showed her ST’s emotion or mood board. But the most he did is be beside her. The main shove came from her
During the fifth episode, she looked at the moodboard because she was reminded of the message of the very book that she wrote. What was it that she craved for? Warmth or to have her hunger satiated? This was the question that shook her, not necessarily Kang-tae’s presence, per se.
Kang-tae didn’t heal her nightmares. He didn’t make the nightmare go away. All he did is feed her afterwards. BUT even without Kang-tae, Moon-young has always wanted to cut her hair and break free from her mom. That’s why she liked sharp objects—something sharp enough to severe that connection.
What pushed her to finally cut it?
Her father, who told her that she will end up like her mom.
Her first book entitled The Cheerful Dog. I have seen viewers saying this, and I completely agree. Moon-young is the cheerful dog, and being reminded of that gave her the courage to cut off her hair. In this scene, notice how MY did NOT even wait for KT to come home even when she would always tell him that they will go home together? She went home first and cut her hair because this is something she would do alone.
The most that Kang-tae did for her is to remind her that she is not alone. She has a companion who looks out for her. Said companion can’t do anything to stop her from getting hurt, but he can comfort her. I was really scared that this drama will show them healing each other, but I am glad that I am not seeing that.
If their journey to healing is a storm, what KT and MY are doing to each other is not stopping each other’s rains but offering an umbrella — comfort, a little bit of warmth as they walk on their own.
(Seo Yeji and Kim Soohyun just happen to look so good together, and happen to have an amazing off-the-charts chemistry.)
if we don’t get to see moonyoung in a dinosaur shirt from sangtae, then I don’t want it.
siblings💙

that feeling... when your fave isn’t the main character and you only get to see them once every 100 chapters
From the webtoon Girls of the Wild's. I really enjoyed reading it although I wish there was more! I feel like it missed a lot of potential branches and storylines. Characters and and humor were great. Overall 8.3/10.
