Same anon as before who said about living in the English countryside, I live in West Lancashire just inland. (Big up the North)

I have lived in a city while I went to uni but truly you cannot take the countryside out of me, it's in my bones. Yes it was convenient to live in the city but in the city you can't see all the stars in the sky, no misty mornings as far as the eyes can see or just the sheep in the field next door.

Gonna do a readmore for my insane ramblings about the moors

The countryside is honestly the My Place. I watched Emily recently (the new movie about Emily bronte), and while most of it was just insane and never happened, the connection it showed her having with howarth and the moors just spoke to something in my soul.

And I’m reading the Bella Ellis books on the bronte mysteries (fab series and would highly recommend) and the way Ellis is able to showcase that connection as well is something I’ve never been able to truly articulate.

There’s just something about the countryside, and specifically Yorkshire (for me anyway) that just captivates me. I love all nature, and the beautiful forests and fields down south are iconic for a reason, but the moors up here?

They’re so ancient and wild, and so vast that it just feels like you disappear from society more the further you go. Without doxxing myself, I live so close to howarth that I can just wander into the moors and see the same landscapes that inspired wuthering heights, and Jane Eyre.

I can stand on a rock on a cliff and look down and see carvings from people dating back to the 1600s, where they stood in the same place, and saw the same trees, same fields, and same sky.

The closeness of the woods is a magic of its own, but the vast openness of the moors and the always icy wind it seems to have is just truly incredible. It always seems to be cold up there, and there is always just more to see.

I’ve never been able to go up at night (since I’m far too clumsy to be roaming the moors at night) but I can’t imagine how beautiful the stars must be up there.

And the mists on the moors? Feels like something out of a fairytale. It’s truly incredible and I’m so blessed to have grown up here. I can’t imagine living anywhere else now.

If King John still rules Ulstead does Aurora keep her title of Queen after marrying Prince Phillip in relation to Ulstead? Is Aurora the queen of 3 kingdoms?
