Grace is a marine biologist, and helped cut Simone free from a ghost net whilst on a dive and nearly got her arm bitten off by an extremely defensive mer. Simone felt really bad as soon as she realized Grace’s intentions though. :(

pleeeease Grace she’s really really sorry please forgive her, she licked your arm and everything-💔

(there’s a hole in Simone’s left cheek that is a scar, and scars stretch across her chest because in the attack that took her arm she pretty much got a free, unwanted and unneeded mastectomy 🥲 I’ve been searching for who came up with this headcanon and failed to find it, but I thought it a was neat inclusion!!!)

Firefighter Simon x Teacher Grace

• Grace and Simon meet when Grace gets stuck in an elevator and 9-1-1 has to be called.

• This starts the downward spiral of them constantly meeting. Grace doing a science experiment with one of his classes? Something gets set on fire and Simon shows up. Elevators? He ends up getting stuck on them so much that he starts taking the stairs.

•His final straw: He was riding his bike and someone hit him (not enough to hurt just cause a concussion). Simon’s team is the one to answer the call.

Simon: “We can’t keep meeting like this”

Grace, embarrassed and concussed: “Well I can’t help it. Something out there is out to get me.”

Simon: “Or maybe it’s the universe trying to tell you something.”

G, looking up at the sly from the ambulance bumper: “What if I don’t believe in the universe? What could it be then?”

S: “Maybe it’s your guardian angel trying to show you someone or something right in front of you.”

Someone on Simon’s team in the distance: “JUST KISS HIM ALREADY”

Simon gives them a death glare and the cut it out motion but Grace is giggly because the pain meds he was given have finally kicked in.

I’m surprised no one has made a James Bond AU for Bloodymary where Simon and Adrian are 00 agents and Grace and Rocky are the ones to make the gadgets like Q does.

Imagine if Rocky is Simon’s Q and Grace is Adrian’s. Simon seeing Grace and asking Adrian “who’s that? I’ve never seen him before.”

“Oh? Oh! That’s Dr Ryland Grace! He’s my Q.” Adrian says as they look at the different weapons.

“Can we swap? I want him as my Q. You can have your partner.” Simon grumbling softly and it makes Adrian chuckle.

“Might have to talk to the higher ups about that.” They both watch as Grace and Rocky are talking passionately together about this new weapon idea. “Although just to warn you, he’s Seaver’s twin brother and his older brother is Courtland gentry.”

“Fuck…..”

I think theres typically one Q but he can have/manages a department working under him. Would make sense to have both a engineer and someone who makes the chemicals and sprays that go into the spy pens that they're producing over in engineering (not sure if thats still a biologist or just a chemist)

This implies Colt and Courtland are either also Double-Os or just as formidable (or annoying) in order to be memorable enough to name drop them 🤔
