was thinking about Eaglefluff and Moosekit’s relationship and then came the idea for ~angst~

What if Doebur gets postpartum and it gets REALLY bad. She has the constant thought of “he’s better without me, I’m only going to hurt him” (made worse by herself being abandoned) and so she leaves. Not for StarClan, just isolating herself.

And Eaglefluff is left alone with Moosekit. But he decides “hell no, you need help and I’m going to find you and make sure you get it.” So while he takes care of Moose and they bond, he also searches for Doe, so he and Moose are basically travelling together while they look for momma

(depending on how long it takes, Doe misses some big milestone, which definitely doesn’t make her feel Great when they reunite)
