This informal hedge of pink flowered Hydrangea macrophylla (hortensia, mophead hydrangea) indicates that the plants are growing in an alkaline soil, if the flowers were blue the roots would be in an acidic soil with available aluminium.

If you look closely on the Hydrangea, you can see a Green Lynx spider
