They’re making a US version? Or is it just voice overs of the movies already made?

No, a real US version with new actors and all - like those other Hollywood movies based on anime / Asian movies (like with most horror movies), if I’m imagining this right.

It’s actually been announced 6 years ago so it’s a weird thing that’s been hovering above the fandom forever and ever. Each time they say something about the project I’m surprised they haven’t given up yet. Watching them just say ‘yes we’ll do it’ for all those 6 years sure was a bizarre experience.

Brown orbs raised up to meet her own, his voice shook some, but he was still stern. " You know I have to report you to the police force, right Sayu?" Perhaps that wasn't the best thing to say to her.

She could have killed Light a long time ago, but...

Years of preparation, months of battle, was it going to be undone now? Was this really how this game was going to end?

Of course not.

She couldn’t be defeated. She would never be defeated. And it was only Light confronting her right now: none of the NPA or anything like that. A one-on-one confrontation: the sweat was dripping down her neck already!

The brunet walked through the front door of his home after having gotten an early start outside and around the town. ” Happy valentines day! Mom, Sayu, ” He greeted, brandishing chocolates from seemingly out of nowhere. There were exclamations of joy and thankfulness- And the teenager had lingered there for awhile, before eventually stepping up the stairs into his room ‘to study’. He was still holding a bag when he regarded the shinigami with a smile. ” Have you ever had a caramel apple Ryuk? ” He inquired before pulling an apple on a stick out of the bag, caramel covering it, and holding it out. ” They’re pretty good, I think you’ll like them. “

The shinigami turned to face the human, now alerted by his presence. He didn't particularly enjoy cooping himself up in this bedroom all day while Light had other things to do. --- It did beat moping around the other realm though.  "Apple?" Ryuk sniffed at the proffered treat. There was something different about this apple. He took it from the human and examined it more closely.
