01:Do you consider yourself a good person?
”Depends on what you mean by ‘good’, I guess,” he replied, folding his arms across his chest as his head fell to the side in thought. There were plenty of definitions of “good”, of which Zaeed had pondered on more than a few times in his life.
”I’m good at what I do; killing. I do what I think is right. Doesn’t matter if anyone else thinks its goddamn right or not. In my head, I just do whatever the hell I want. If I don’t like it, I don’t do it.”
Unhindered by anyone else’s rules or regulations, Zaeed liked to think that he was good by his own standards. Not that it really mattered. Having what other would be considered just morals wasn’t exactly a concern of the “most dangerous man in the galaxy”.
02:What good do you contribute to the galaxy?
There was that word again. He couldn’t help but shake his head, followed by a gentle scoff. Most people would probably answer these questions a different way, but if he was stating the truth…
”I take care of all the dirty work that nobody else will bother to mess with. Wiping out all the idiots in this goddamn galaxy is what I contribute,” Zaeed said simply. It was a straight-forward answer, didn’t need any elaboration. Some would have questioned his “good” contributions, but he’d argue that the people he killed were ten times more “messed up” than he was.
07:If you were about to kill your mortal enemy, and their child appeared to beg for their parent’s life, would you spare your enemy?
”You’re basically asking me if I were standing face to fucking face with Vido, would I hesitate to kill him just because his goddamn kid showed up?” The answer was obvious. His expression remained neutral, pausing a moment before he continued, “No, I wouldn’t spare his fucking life!”
There was probably more passion in Zaeed’s voice than what would have been deemed acceptable by normal social standards.
”Chances are the kid would be better off without that scumbag in their life! He shot me in the fucking face, betrayed me, wrote me out of everything I’ve ever worked for! No kid would ever change my mind about what a bastard he is.”
