I read a small run in with that lovely person before as they were defending brachycephalics on my anti-brachy post, despite the ironic aversion to "breeding for looks" stated directly on their profile. I am so sorry they came at you in such a cruel and unnecessary manner. You are massively appreciated and I am in awe at the work you put into your work and running this blog too, I hope you are well! <3

I am reasonably well. I am aware that they have a number of strong, contradictory opinions and that they nurture a (as someone delightfully phrased it) ‘hate-boner’.

I have a blue lead for my collie which says "TRAINING" on in very clear letters which i got off amazon, people are a lot more hesitant to just come up and start petting him. He isn't an SD and i joke that he is training to "be good" but it definitely makes people think

I got the blue one off Amazon too, mine is just the 2ft length haha. I’ve had people asking what I’m training for and it’s like idk..life? Training in general? To have a well behaved dog? 

I have major RBF so people tend to not bother me when I’m out and about anyway. I prefer using the 2ft leash when I’m out and my ‘training’ one is the only one I have. But I like that it might make people stop and think before doing something stupid around my dogs.

And I feel you there, Ebay makes me super nervous on both ends. It’s a lot less personal than like Etsy or a shop site similar to that.
