This sounds so familiar because I also left uni (one year ago by now) and no it isn't a failure, you still have the knowledge you got and can look to the future with a wider perspective. It'll prepare you for further studies at well! Absolutely do what you love, you're very talented, I think you'd fit right into the ol' video game school
