Hello! I am sorry to trouble you, but is there any chance you’ll circle back to medieval illumination stuff again? I saw some previous pieces on your site and am obsessed. Thank you for sharing your gorgeous work!

Hi @missingrache - your inquiry is no trouble at all! I will definitely be circling back around to Medieval stuff soon (by soon I mean in the spring because oh god i am so busy right now help me aghh)!

One of the Medieval things in question...v excited to paint this anxious guy again someday soon!

I absolutely love doing the illuminated manuscript/marginalia inspired stuff, but it also takes ages to create (leaf litter mugs still win for endless painting days, but the Medieval stuff is a close second, so I need a stretch of time when I'm not rushing to get a good batch done. Not that you needed to know all that, but I just finished my coffee & am feeling chatty watch out!

Hey Rawr idk if you were being ironic or not (hard to tell in a sentence) but a genuine unironic thank you for repping the Hexer on that continent cake shop post, the more Witcher content I consume the more it cements itself as my Actual Favorite Of All and it’s just! A joy to see it anytime anywhere. (The scene where Geralt spooks Jaskier playfully IS good!!!)

I absolutely adore the Hexer.

It's goofy, full of soul, off the wall fun. The relationship between Jaskier and Geralt is fantastic. I also mentioned it because I dislike the phrase "the show" for a variety of reasons, but that's me placing something within the context of my own personal interpretation of an Anonymous Ask after some recent experiences/encounters. I add a certain tone/attitude to the phrase in my head that the asker may not even have intended.

I could have also mentioned Alzur's Legacy, the fanmade film that is stunningly good. If you haven't seen it, I really do recommend it.

Hello! Pardon my asking, but how did you obtain your budgie boys? I had some pet shop birds as a kid that I loved very much and got incredibly lucky with and am researching a bit now about how to do...a little better? But finding breeders and etc has been kind of frustrating. What do you look for? Or did you shelter adopt?

Hi! Sorry for taking so long to reply, I haven’t logged in to tumblr much lately!

Pixel was a pet shop bird. I feel a bit guilty about that now, but at the time I’d just moved into my own place for the first time and really wanted a budgie of my own (my previous budgies stayed with my parents). It was a small shop, and all the budgies came from one local breeder, but I would have rather adopted, looking back. I still love Pixel all the same though! :D

Widget was adopted a few years later, I found an advert for him online and thought it was the best time to get a companion for Pix. He was still very young so I thought it was the best opportunity to make sure they got along well.

it is in my drafts as ‘les mis dads au’ and in it, for reasons that don’t need exploring at this juncture, Javert raises Cosette and Valjean raises the Thenardier kids and Cosette and Eponine meet again in Paris shortly before the failed revolution and that was as far as I got.

I saw a saberguild performance with a friend twoish years ago at a con, and have been choreographing lightsaber fights with her on weekends ever since!we’re not what you would call...... good? but we’re ever slowly improving lolso yes that video is literally #goals lololol
