jacyn catches sight of morgan in the mall. She's looking at an outfit on the clothing rack, he's in her blindspot, but the mirror isn't.

He knows she can see his reflection in the mirror from the corner of her eye.

He unzips his jacket just a bit to show the bloody prosthetic bullet wound, smiles, zips it back up and walks away.

Later he catches her by one of the fridges near the checkout.

Morgan Drew doesn’t need breaks. But her mothers think otherwise after she returned to face to face school classes and taking care of Lee and being Carnival.

But even her time as Carnival were usually cut short. So now Morgan was having me time in the mall. She was alone but she wasn’t— Chat was loud since they were away from Lee and well…
