I noticed that the lasgun has been called a "flashlight" by many people. Is this supposed to be humor or are lasguns that bad in terms of firepower? From my understanding they are still better than autoguns in most cases.

Anyone who disrespects the noble lasgun is either ignorant or a spoiled brat. 

Let me tell you - down where there’s no light? Where there’s no clean water? Where every fucking day is a fight for survival? Las weapons are a throne sent blessing. They are robust. Accurate. Reliable. The parts are plentiful. The maintenance is simple.They can be recharged through universal outlets, generators, UV booths, jury rigged powerlines or an open fire if you’re desperate.

Mik is way too enthusiastic about his cigars. That can't be healthy. Is anyone concerned? ( Of course, I guess all of Mordia smells ten times as bad a cigar smoke on a regular basis due to the pollution and garbage, but that's besides the point. )

UUh...I’m enthusiastic because I’m grateful, pal. Even though I only smoke on special occasions - sunnysides are so freakin’ rare and expensive that I’m never exactly flush with them. Getting a new box that I don’t have to pay for is amazing.

Still a bad habit.

Pink: 4 facts about my parents

Their names are Jeffrey and Breanna.

My father has been dead for some years now, and the last time I knew anything for sure, so was my mother, but that’s a more difficult situation.

My father was a farmer, but a somewhat naive one, and that’s how he ended up working a dry piece of land that wouldn’t grow much of anything.

My mother was originally from Rossanoe, a much more fertile and …happy place, but she moved to Sudbyr for my father, despite the necromancy that was everywhere.

Red: 5 facts about my best friend

I think of two ladies when you say that, Dame Lulu and Emma, sooo… mix it up?

Dame Lulukoa Kame’kala, Baroness of La Rochelle, Royal Court Healer, Queen’s Champion… She’s amazing in spite of those titles. (I’ve seen titles go to the heads of their bearers and it’s not pleasant.)

Emma Silvers is like those little dogs that bark and growl at huge animals because they believe 100% they can take them on.

Dame Lulu is a sea elf and Emma is a human.

Emma is really good at getting to know people, but I wouldn’t exactly call her friendly. ;)

White: 3 facts about my personality

Well, I don’t really like to talk about myself, does that count?

I’m quiet. No, I mean really quiet, in that I don’t talk a lot. There was a point when I was Silenced by High Sorcery or something and when I would “converse” with people after that, it would take them a few minutes to actually realize I couldn’t speak.

If I trust you, I trust you the whole way. Which means I’m skeptical of people more than I’m not. That being said, if you lose my trust, it’s gone, and I don’t know that you’ll ever get it back.

I get very upset when people don’t listen to or believe me. It is literally in my oath that I cannot lie. 

Orange: 6 facts about my home town

I was born on the outskirts of Argent, in Sudbyr.

Like the rest of Sudbyr, necromancy and undead are very common there.

It’s a large trading city, so you’ll see lots of different things from different lands in the markets, which is interesting, I suppose.

It sits at the foot of the mountains, at the western end of the Dragon Pass to Verfel and Marce.

It was an important city to the Dark Sovereign while he ruled, a place to make thousands and thousands of undead.

I don’t have anything else to say except I feel no need to return. Actually, now I would say my home is now Clanthia, or Tiksylvan, where I’ve been for a year.

Grey: 2 facts about my favorite things

I love my Healers’ Guild, and I love what it should be. We’re not perfect, we’re not large, and we’re often written off, but we have heart, and we have strength of character. This isn’t really a fact, but…

Tea. Tea is the best because it’s warm for cold mornings and chilly cabins, calming after tense battles or confrontations, and great for extending the hand of friendship.

Hey Mordia, tell me about your mother.

Hi!

My mom, Breanna, she’s really kind of amazing. She’s hard-working and kind and is always trying to help people however she can. 

She moved to Sudbyr when she married my dad, and it was a far cry from what she’d grown up around. Despite being surrounded by it daily, and those that supported it, she never wavered in her belief that necromancy is wrong. My father died when I was younger and she had to work very hard to keep us comfortable, mostly doing work as a seamstress, and me helping however I could.  

We made it, and managed to save enough coin for me to travel all the way to Clanthia (it was so far back then, but it seems a rather short distance now). I said goodbye and set off, not knowing if I’d ever see her again. Even once I joined the Healers’ Guild, it wasn’t as though I could just teleport down to Argent to see her. 

Dame Lulu, my new leader, found out where she was living and wouldn’t stand for that, so she found her a home and work in one of the cities in La Rochelle, Tiksylvan. We’re both ever so grateful to her for that. My mother moved as soon as possible, setting up a small home much closer to where I was, so I got to visit more often. Tiksylvan, of course, is far from a perfectly peaceful city–I mean, it was haunted for years by a dracolich–but my mom is tough and handled it well, helping out others as she could. She even took a little orphan boy in when Dame Lulu asked. He’s adorable, and she enjoys looking after him.

[And the rest is sort of up in the air because I don’t know the answer logistically, but Breanna may be dead? There was a point where we jumped to 45 years into the future, which far outstrips her natural lifespan, but now we’re back and some people are alive and some aren’t and I really don’t know.]
