for commissions: which style would yall prefer

option 1:

i’d have a certain number of slots available (probably between 3 and 5) each with a range of word counts (minimum probably would be 1k, max 6k maybe?)

option 2:

i’d have a certain number of total words (8k probably) that commissioners can claim from (in increments of 500). so one commissioner could claim 2k of that 8k, and there would be 6k for others. a person could theoretically claim the whole 8k as well.
