This fandom is so interesting (derogatory) in that they hate on Sam for how he handled Dean’s Ma’lak box plan, but every comparable instance in the other direction—and there are SO many instances of this—are completely justified on Dean’s part. Hello?

Sam breaking down over Dean wanting to kill himself (which would WORK strategically, they just haven’t exhausted any other courses of action) is manipulative and evil, but Dean talking Sam out of finishing the Trials was a nonissue (again, this would end in his death, but would be a huge strategic win). Sam punching Dean during his breakdown is inexcusable, but Dean beating the shit out of Soulless!Sam when he asked for help was completely fine. WHAT???
