all this time I was like I hate tear, I love chalice, and would athene's rush on every AP support (I play Lux, Nid support mainly.)

but then I FINALLY realized I could try a third option

More Cost efficient than Athene's and Archangel's

More Mana Regen than Both (Chalice breaks even at 1200 mana)

Builds out of Faerie Charm, Fiendish Codex, Kage's (DEEM COST EFFICIENT AP SUPPORT GETS)

20% CDR (with CD boots and masteries you'll hit 39% cough I run 21/6/3 actually support masteries would get there sooner OR Athene's 40%)

Yes Athene's gives MR but that's precisely why its better later, when people actually hurt.
