The 'learning pandemic' id like to call it is spreading at the crucial time where children are meant to be mending and disembedding which has seemed to have taken the back foot due to the prioritising of learning a book or textbook based on someone else's decisions and opinions. It is closer to home than we think, suffocating us. For example, home is place where the doom and gloom can't reach us, it is a room where we can abide by our own rules and regulations where distractions are no longer frowned upon, disregarded and labelled as "wasting time". Ironic as that was the only time where i was actually using the time to expand my mind and to explore outside of the bind where the paper lied. I wanted to find the wider picture which wasn't forced upon me by giving me a book and telling me to read when all we want to do is lead my own pathway instead of following the math way. You see reading a book is one step away from curing this pandemic, as every reader will tell you they love the book better than the movie. Why is that? Its a way of creating their own imagery of the way they had portrayed the story to have been unlike a movie where it is already created for you and some don't agree because its not the way they had seen it to be. You see we are the designers of our own opinions but you just keep trying to make us your minions.
