She's basically your mom? Dude, everyone leaves their parents eventually to go be happy with someone else. And most of the time their parents are nicer then your sister is being right now. Maybe you'll teach her a freaking lesson on how to be a decent human being.
"I know, I know. But you have to understand that the only safe place for Macee and I, for the time being, is at the bunker. I’m looking over the floor plans that Magnus left behind and I’m working on finding a spot to have my own. I just… it takes time."
He bites his lip, crosses his arms. “Sure, she needs to learn a lesson about being nice, but I’m not just going to completely stop talking to her. I want to try and have a sit down conversation with her about it, but I’m not going to fool myself into thinking that will happen.” He laces his fingers together, thinking.
"I can’t risk putting Macee in any danger. I’m trying not to live motel room to motel room because it’s too expensive."
He hesitates.
"Macee," He calls out, glad that Deanna’s not home. "I need to talk to you…"
