25th anniversary 🎉🎉🎉
Morfa, Llŷn Peninsula | by Ian Hex
Sorry if this is out of the blue but I was very curious about your Ocean Hunter headcanons (orrr fanon? If we’re talking about EoT) and I wanted to know what they are if you’re comfortable sharing. (Without spoiling anything from your fan comic of course :-P)
This is kinda complicated to answer because my headcanon and the fancomic have a lotta similarities and differences that would both end up as giant walls of text to explain either of them - even if I talk about only the stuff that won't also spoil parts of the fancomic. Besides that, there are some stuff that I rather prefer to "show, don't tell" via doodles and the fancomic.
What I can share about the main quartet (Torel, Chris, Morfa, Clyde/Player 4) that pertains to both my headcanon and the fancomic that aren't spoilers in the latter:
Torel is nonbinary and asexual, and comes from a wealthy family. Also doesn't know how to cook.
Chris is ace bi, and is an engineer and mechanic prodigy. Also likes sharks, and is allergic to seafood.
Morfa is a lesbian and has a girlfriend and a pet mouse/rodent/creature named Milo. Her job usually involves museum archives and archaeological fields.
Clyde has two dads. His dad is a treasure hunter (captain of a marine salvage crew in modern AU), and his papa runs an arcade back at home that's a popular spot for the locals and tourists.
Morfa is the oldest and tallest of the quartet, Clyde is the shortest, and Chris is the youngest (Torel is a few months older than him).
The hot air balloon belongs to Torel's father.
Torel didn't come out to their distant parents and don't intend to ever.
Last but not least, Torel and Chris have been best friends and later queer platonic partners ever since they were kids.
For fancomic specific facts about the quartet, refer to the fancomic's main cast character sheet.
(reposted and updated again, hopefully for the final time)
Meet the main cast of my Ocean Hunter: Eyes of Truth fancomic!
"Well, if you two are ready, willing, and able, we better get back to the open seas and get the Seven Great Monsters!”
Be sure to check your Halloween loot for escaped arcade monsters.
cheer up hug
There weren't any cookies in Torel's and Chris's apartment when chibi Rahab escaped from the boardwalk to the apartment again.
It was also the day he learned to fear the golf club and Morfa.
("have" got cropped out in the last drawing, whoops)
