It's Escapade Wednesday!
So in the last few years, Marvel's introduced a new character called Morgan Red (he/they). He's a supporting character for another character, Shela Sexton/Escapade, who was on the New Mutants and now is in the Avengers Academy Infinity Comic.
Morgan is a mutant, but had no desire to do the whole Krakoa thing, or get involved in superhero stuff. They're a hacker and engineer, and usually Shela's person in the chair.
But those aren't his powers. He thinks their power isn't a combat power, but he is absolutely mistaken.
In fact, Morgan has the potential to be an absolutely brutal combatant if they ever wanted to be. I'm talking "world's best assassin" if he put his mind to it.
They can convert organic matter into chocolate. Any kind of chocolate. Any kind of organic matter. Up to 8 ounces at a time.
He doesn't need to touch the organic matter (they once turned deadly bacteria in chocolate mousse through a protective cannister), he doesn't need a clear view of it (the cannister was opaque), they just needs to know it's there.
Humans are organic matter. The human heart weighs up to 12 ounces. The human brain up to 48 ounces. A slice of a leg or an arm or a spine? Depends on the thickness.
If he wasn't a decent person, they could absolutely become Death By Chocolate.

These pages actually give us alot. It puts Shela's fear on the front stage and shows how she has friends to help and encourage her. Also Hibbert. Hibbert is love, Hibbert is life. It sucks that Shela and Martha broke up, but it's nice to see them still being friends and still caring greatly about one another
