5, 14, 15. GO.
5. Either this paragraph or one of the ones that surrounds it, from The Sum of Ourselves:
Derek slept with Kate; Stiles asked Scott to go with him to look for a body into the woods. Neither of them knew what they were doing, what kind of unfathomable creatures they would find, out there. Neither of them knew that they would, eventually, find each other, that all progress is forward when you move through time, when you can look back on it and see where it was you were actually going, when all it seemed like you were doing was looking for adventure, taking a different route home through the woods in the dark.
That is— probably the best explanation I have for why TW, why Stiles and Derek, why now, etc. It’s pretty much the only thing that survived the original draft of that story (which was set in Santa Cruz, basically for no reason). Different pieces of TDK and its various sequels strike me at different times but that’s one of the ones that I’m just really, solidly proud of. It’s not really an image until the end but it does exactly what I intended it to do, I think.
14. Prrrrobably not. One of the things I like about canon is being surprised by it, the ways it disagrees with how I think it should like, so obviously go. On the other hand, I’m usually fannish about things I have a lot of trust in (Harry Potter, for one)— I could probably be convinced to come in and write an ep of TW, especially if it meant a day or two on set. It would almost certainly be evenly split between world-building and UST— I have a lot of questions about pack dynamics, and how alphas becomes alphas.
15. AN EMBARRASSING AMOUNT. Cambria, 12 pt, 1x spacing. Times New Roman if for some reason I’m writing in Word.
(q’s from here, if yr curious)
