14, 18, 27, and 29 for Morgkley
14. When one has a cold, what does the other do?
Soup
Morgana's is weird and has stuff that moves in unsettling ways, but she also puts a bunch of magic ingredients on it, so a single bowl is enough to bring Beakley back to health (and thank goodness, bc she's stubborn af and would definitely go back to work even if she feels like passing out)
Beakley's soup is just a regular tasty one, but she's also extra attentive and makes sure to be there for anything Morgana may need.
18. When they fight, how do they make up?
They're both pretty levelheaded so their arguments rarely escalate enough to be considered a fight. But when they do? Oh boy, it's WAR out there.
Usually, after some time has passed and they've cooled down a bit, they just get together on their own to talk (unless Webby or Lena someone else interferes and tricks them to meet earlier. Once their souls are at stake and their lives at risk is way easier to make up). If the fight was a big one, they start talking back to back until they feel confident enough to face their partner.
If the fight is due to one of them messing it up in an extreme way (it has happened like once), she is the one who starts the talk with a big apology at her partner's favorite place once she knows her girlfriend/wife is ready to even consider her apology (that doesn't mean everything is forgiven and forgotten tho, there are things that take time, but it's a start)
27. Why do their friends get annoyed with them?
Apart from the fact that Scrooge HATES magic (specially when Morg uses it because sometimes it backfires horribly and makes things worse) and most of Morgana's friends are ghouls that hate normals and their inability to do certain things you mean?
When they join the family in adventures together they have 0 chill.
Beakley is already the Worried Mom™ of the group bc no one else seems to think of the dangers beforehand.
Morgana is a little more easy going in the rare cases she's the only one who joins them, though.
But both of them at the same time? A well placed kick, a snap of fingers and the fight is over, the trap is dismantled and the curses are lifted. How are they supposed to enjoy a thrilling adventure that fuels them with adrenaline if the path is cleared and even the cracks on the floor are fixed???!!!
The only one who enjoys this situation is Louie, since getting the treasure without having to nearly die for once sounds perfect to him.
29. Why do they fall a little bit more in love?
For Morgana, it's things like the way Beakley seems to be always ready to help and protect her family, putting herself between danger and the kids (which still include Della and Donald, apparently. They may be adults, but they're still her kids too) without even thinking, launching herself at danger ready to give it all if needed, and how she pulls her closer whenever something feels wrong in the air almost as second nature. How her eyes soften and she smiles slightly every time Morgana enters the room and how she holds her, strong yet tenderly as if she never wanted to let go but was scared that the sorceress would shatter like glass between her fingers if she wasn't careful. The way she has all her emotions mastered and perfect walls to keep any facade she desires at any moment yet looks so inoffensive and trusting in her sleep.
For Beakley, it can be the tiniest of things. The way Morgana's voice sweetens when talking with any kind of animal or beast, no matter how scary or disgusting regular people would find them. The way her voice lightens up and grows more and more excited as she goes on talking about some mushroom she found in a corner of one of the rooms or a new (aka. extremely old that she found on an ancient family book) recipe that she's definetely adding to her restaurant's menu. How the elements themselves seem to answer and obey the raw power of her emotions, darkness and storms at her fingertips the moment fury invades her at the mere threat of Beakley getting hurt. Her ability to be completely sincere and straightforward with her feelings, unafraid to seize any opportunity she sees, and the way she wears her heart on her sleeve without fear nor remorse and trusting Bentina with her whole being.
Morgana and Bentina Pastel
Okay so, I've been holding on this one for almost a year and I still love it?? The soft vibes went off the charts
Can I get uuuuuuuuuh Morgkley wedding outfit? :D
Ahshahs I'm sorry I took that long
You knew EXACTLY what were you doing to me the moment you sent this, right??
I wasted a whole ducking week just daydreaming about the possibilities and headcanons ahshahsh!!!
Also, since I owed you a little something extra...
HOPE YOU LIKED IT ^^ 💕💕
This was first supposed to be for mermay, which then turned into Pride month, then July came along and now it’s fucking August.
So… yeah
Beakley is a blue-ringed octopus kind of mermaid (they may be tiny af, but they’re one of the most venomous animals and can kill you in minutes) and Morgana is a leafy seadragon mermaid
I specially love this one a lot, so here’s an alternative version to appreciate the colors bc I said so:
So, just to see if I have it right... Launchpad will marry Drake, the Clone will date the Wereduck, Morgana will date Beakley, we lesbians and bi/pan women and nb folk in the fandom will compete with each other for the Viking Shieldmaiden, and Jim will be left alone in the sewers where he belongs. Is that correct? (Also, is the sentient cloud of energy seeing anyone?)
This is the best resume of the madness that has been going down in this blog since tdkr, anon absbdbd so, yes, all you say? Very correct.
Drakepad is canon, werepad is canon, morgkley is canon, all of us fighting for Viking Shieldmaiden's hand in marriage (and me winning) is canon, Jim spending the rest of his life in the sewers alone and unhappy (at least that he finds negaLP I guess) is also canon.
(Also sentient cloud of energy is out there, still looking for true love if you find them, tell them to call me u_u)
Heyyyyy :D 1, 2, 4, 11 and 28 with Morgkley for the ask thingy pleaseeee
As you wish, 7w7
1. Who makes the first move and how?
Morgana.
How? You mean apart from kissing Beakley senseless the moment she laid eyes on her?
She... wasn't exactly subtle with her infatuation towards Bentina either.
2. Who is the most insecure and what makes them feel better?
Morgana. She gets nervous around Bentina (I mean, who doesn't want to impress their crush?) and is terrified of being rejected by the people around her, either because something she did or because of what she is (not all her past experiences have been pleasant). Which makes her do some mistakes on her spellcasting, which only makes dangerous situations even worse, which fuels her fear of Beakley rejecting her because she messed up, oh dear, she messed up so so so so bad, how did she mess up like that?? It was a simple spell!!!??? Even a toddler could have done that calculation!!!
Usually a small touch on her shoulder is enough to distract her from the storm inside her head.
Beakley insists on Morgana tagging along anyways and reassures her that her spellcasting is getting better. But what really does the trick is when she realizes that Bentina has blind faith that Morgana will have her back and that she is still fully capable to fend off by herself if the witch ever fails to do so. She DOESN'T NEED someone by her side, yet Bentina Beakley allows herself to be vulnerable around Morgana even after all the times she felt like she had messed up because she TRUSTS her and WANTS her. And Beakley is a trained spy. She's never wrong when it comes to trusting people. So maybe, just maybe, she's not doing it as bad as she first thought.
4. Who can’t keep their hands to themselves?
Also Morgana (dang, three on a row XD).
She's by far the most touchy and cuddly of the two (Beakley is rarely affectionate in public) and even if it's just something simple like linking their arms and leaning on her shoulder or grabbing one of Beakley's hands with both of hers and staying impossibly close while rambles excitedly about something, she's always in Beakley's personal space (not that it bothers Bentina. That's how Morgana is and Beakley silently adores and welcomes it)
11. What do they hide from one another?
Morgana is doing a parallel investigation about Magica's whereabouts behind the rest's backs. She's furious about how Magica treated and used Lena and, as a fellow sorcerer, feels like it's her duty to stop her. Dealing with a magical user can be very dangerous and doesn't want to put the others (specially Lena, Webby and Beakley) in danger. She also uses the sleep sand to make sure that Lena's dreams are pleasing and to kick away any nightmare, specially if it's about a certain green feathered witch.
Last, but not least, her family has tried to talk her out of her relationship with Beakley countless times, but there's no way she's telling Bentina that. (Beakley noticed on her own, but hasn't said anything either)
Beakley watches Morgana sleep almost every day (again, they have pretty different schedules so it's not difficult).
She also isn't extremely fond of ghouls' food yet. Yes, it's actually tasty and good once she finally catches and eats it, but Bentina is still a little weirded out when her food is clearly trying to walk away or wants to strangle her. (Of course, she doesn't tell Morgana. She's fully aware how proud she's of her cooking and there's no real complaining apart from "it's moving and I'm not used to that". Beakley can deal with that)
28. Why do they get jealous?
Bentina gets a little bit jealous about the way Morgana talks to and cuddles all her pets. And she feels absolutely stupid about it because she's jealous of a random spider Morgana just found on the street, but the moment Morg starts cooing at it, Bentina is immediately like "god, wish that were me"
Morgana is jealous of the relationship between Beakley and Scrooge. She's not afraid of Scrooge taking Beakley away from her and all that nonsense. Bentina loves HER and Scrooge is extremely supportive about that. Besides, she's aware that the relationship between those two is 100% platonic. But she sees how they barely need words to understand each other. She notices how much they care about each other. They can work together with a single glance yet they argue like an old married couple at the slightest chance. They raise each other up even though they know so much about the other that they could figuratively and literally ruin their life. They have enough mutual trust that they allow themselves to be vulnerable because they know it's safe and at the same time they drive each other mad. It's the kind of intimate bond it takes decades of mutual appreciation, love, support and convivence to achieve. Morgana wishes that she could have something like that with Beakley, except romantic instead of platonic.
But it's only a matter of time ;3
I saw your post on Morgkley and I fell in love with the ship, so 1, 2, 3, 5, 11 for Morgkley??????
1. It’s a starry night, what would they want to do the most? EX- Have a bonfire, talk about the world, snuggle up to each other under a blanket. ECT
Either go to the graveyard for a peaceful date or a walk through the creepiest forest Morgana can manage to teleport them to (a good way to make sure they are alone 7w7)
But depending on the day, moon, etc. Morgana just makes spells, rituals, recharges energies and other kinds of things to make her magic stronger while Beakley watches her quietly and occasionally helps her.
2. What’s the worst date they have ever been on with each other? Explain what happened.
The first one. It was a total mess. Morgana was still lingering a little in the edge of morality and, even though both were really looking forward it, none of them were sure that it wasn't a trick from the other to get rid of them.
They met at the graveyard next to Morgana's house for dinner. Beakley accidentally insulted Morg's cooking (tbh, she didn't know she had cooked this specially for her, NOR THAT IT WAS USUAL FOR GHOUL'S FOOD TO MOVE BY ITSELF) and the sorceress got angry, distrust took hold of their actions and they started arguing and eventually fighting. One of Morgana's spells went haywire and they both ended up being attacked by a horde of unfriendly zombies, all of that before they had even tasted the food.
When things looked like they finally had calmed down and they both apologized, Beakley's daughter stormed the place. The girl didn't know her mother had a date just that she had "business to attend in the graveyard, please dear stay with McDuck, be good and listen to him", she just assumed it was spy stuff and wanted to help. So when she sees her mother leaning against one of her enemies, who happens to be a sorceress, holding hands and about to kiss, her first thought is that Bentina is being mentally controlled by Morgana. Also, is that rotten brain in her mother's fanciest jacket?? And she's not even bothered about it??? Yep, definitely something is not right in there.
Morgana didn't know Bentina had a daughter. Not that she minded at all, but there's something about seeing your date holding her kid so that she doesn't kill you with a baseball bat to "show you not to control my mom you fiendish witch!!" that it's not exactly appealing as far as first meetings with the family go.
Oh, but you thought that was all?? What do you think Scrooge was doing instead of looking after the kid like he was supposed to?? Apparently deciding that leaving that responsability to Duckworth and starting a fight against his own personal witch foe that ended up in the place where his partner was having her date was the greatest idea of the universe.
At this point, the place is a mess, they are covered in weird stuff they really don't want to know where it came from, Beakley's kid has calmed down a bit but is still hugging her mother protectively and glaring daggers at Morg (which would have been utterly terrifying for the witch since the kid had her mother's signature glare, if it weren't because Morgana found that particular detail extremely adorable) and Scrooge and Magica are destroying whatever that is still standing.
"Well, at least it's not like it can get any worse. Hopefully.Would you... like to give it a second chance? I... actually never got to try your food."
"I'd be delighted, darling"
And that's when Duckworth and the Duck twins fell off the nearest tree.
3. Who takes amazing photos of their partner when their partner is excited about a new hair-do/make-up/outfit they have on?
Beakley takes them most of times. Have you seen Morgana excited?? The tiny shiny hearts in her eyes??The way she smiles so bright that she would lighten up the darkest cave with the power of a hundred stars?? The little bouncing as she walks?? She's always adorable and excited and Bentina needs to take the picture fast before all the cuteness reaches her brain and paralyzes her, leaving her staring dreamily at Morg.
Sometimes she can't help herself and the picture is actually Beakley kissing a flustered and excited Morgana.
(Don't worry, I'm already working on it 7w7)
5. Where was their first kiss? Who kissed who?
Technically speaking, their first kiss was right after they met, on Morgana's basement. Agent 22 and McDuck were tasked to catch some magic thieves and the clues lead them to Morgana's house. Scrooge disappeared at some point around the Manor when Bentina got distracted for a second.
When 22 walked into Morgana plotting with her associates by mistake (she thought by the noise that she had finally found Scrooge again and had a reprimand about disappearing by himself while in the enemy's domain ready), Morgana kissed Beakley as a distraction (or so she told her partners. Anyways, the kiss worked way too well) and then Archie tied her up.
Their first kiss being an official couple was at the graveyard in a moonless night.
11. When their partner leaves for a week on a business trip, what is something special they do for their partner when they come home?
Cuddle cuddle cuddle cuddle kiss kiss kiss kiss
It's usually unknown in advance when Beakley will come home from an assignment (or IF she's ever coming home again, but Morgana doesn't want to think about it) so it's difficult to prepare something really elaborated.
After checking that Bentina is not hurt (and healing her if she is. Morgana learned to heal any kind of physical injury and most of Normal's most common diseases after certain incidents made her realize how dangerous 22's job actually was) and a hug (to convince herself that yes, Bentina is alright, with her, her heart is still beating, everything is fine), a warm cup of Beakley's favorite tea and cuddling under a blanket always does the trick.
(And a shoulder to cry on in the really few times things have gone horribly wrong and Agent 22 finally breaks)
As for when Morgana is the one away, Bentina takes care of her countless pets (spiders, bats, some lizards and a couple of rats) and carefully takes out the old and really damaged cobwebs so the spiders can re-do them.
Beakley also tried to learn to cook her favorite meals on several occasions. Emphasis on tried. Those days, Morgana would open the door to find her engaged in an epic battle around the house against the ingredients, that weren't exactly happy about a Normal trying to use them. After the 6th time Morgana had to get her out of the grasp of either a giant octopus or something looking vaguely like spaghetti ("Get off! That's MY girlfriend".She knows Bentina could have gotten away by herself, but it's nice to turn the tables around for once), they finally settled for dinner at the graveyard.
