i am also a dellumbra shipper at heart and deeeeep deep down i want dondaisy to work. but i think this ship is cute and funny. i can't really see them being Together Together (their interests/hobbies would clash with each other i think) but i do like the idea that in high school or something they were dating for a short bit

Another screencap edit for my twin swap au (the au where Della and Donald swap places)! This time it’s Della and Daisy!

In this au, Daisy is Huey, Dewey and Louie’s mother! After Donald’s disappearance, Della, out of guilt, helps Daisy raise the boys. The two grow very close as a result - jeez Huey, Dewey, and Louie! Why do you get to have two moms? They very obviously have feelings for each other but won’t admit it.

Della’s outfit is based on her comics outfit and is meant to signal her transition into a more domestic role - although she eventually switches back to her pilot’s gear after getting back into the spirit of adventure - which stresses Daisy out to no end. Why does everyone she loves keep running off to crazy dangerous adventures?

As for what’s got the two of them so annoyed in this particular moment? Probably something Scrooge did.
