Here's a translation of a fun comic in which Miss Quackfaster gets her due and Scrooge is humiliated! This was a real undertaking for me to scanlate, especially because of all the times I had to repaint background details and sound effects. I learned a lot in the process!

happy new year! I didn't give up on this, but I just had read Uncle Scrooge in: "A Christmas Crossing" and. uhh. this comic needs its own post (with SPOILERS!). so now you'll have this post under the cut called Scrooge Are you Stupid??

like Goldie is TRYING and TELLING HIM the whole TIME but he just can't see it. is that what happened with Isabel and Scrooge in A Ch- [gets shot]

y'know what, if to this day he was still using horses as his main way of going anywhere I wouldn't be too surprised

very important last note: Scrooge and Goldie helping and taking care of little Emily Quackfaster for a moment. this is precious ok, norwegian comics are all the way to drama and I'm here for it. I can already see that AU popping to existence somewhere

Emily Quackfaster is problematic!

Some might find her antics in The Great Dime Chase! to be “funny”, “silly”, or even “look, it’s an animated adventure sitcom bro, I don’t know why you’re making such a big deal about this” but not me!

Did you all forget that Dewey and Webby were ASKING HER FOR HELP!??

And she chases them with a sword!??

For comedy!??

They could’ve been traumatized and locked in the insane asylum for years to come because of what they went through!

If I were a writer on the show, I would’ve addressed her actions in its own episode where Scrooge lectures her about her actions cause it should’ve been addressed. Talk about a missed opportunity

Please don’t criticize my critiques because I have a problematic librarian working at my local library so I know what I’m talking about
