Hi, so, I was just wondering if you could give me a brief explanation of how you write themes? Like, do you need a base theme to work from first and things like that?

I never used a base code. Since I just reuse the code of one of my own themes, I don't rewrite the code each time. But I usually think of a design first, setting the sidebar/header up. Then I style the posts, tags and permalink, and lastly the notes.

Why did you first make a tumblr?

I actually don’t remember specifics but it was right at the beginning of the summer last year and I think i just wanted to see what the site was about and it turned into an obsession.
