i forgot i never posted this artwork i did for the WANDERLUST Anthology (@wanderlust-anthology) few years back! it is based on the Moroccan folktale 'Haina'. you can read the original story here, i personally found it to be so intriguing and had many unique elements that i wanted to include in the image (Rooster with the white thread around his feet, the gold spindle, them being cursed into a Bird&Hound etc) in this artwork, I reimagined the tale by making Haina the writer of her own destiny and the hero of her story as she attempts to escapes the ogre, along with her brave lover (who is cursed into a Bird by the ogre). ⭐Prints can be found here: www.inprnt.com/gallery/kholouz…
