Hey there, @omg-snakes answered my ask and let me know you breed ball pythons, and I have a question that they said you might know the answer to. I copy/pasted the ask:

Is yellow blushing on the side of the belly a common thing with normal ball pythons? I have one normal and one yellowbelly sunset, and my yellowbelly definitely has checkering on his belly for sure, but my normal doesn’t. Her blushing is so strong though, and I haven’t seen that on any other normals. I’m out of town so I currently don’t have a picture that isn’t of her face or her bioactive, but it’s a soft yellow, almost a golden color, and it blushes from the side of her stomach to about 1/3 the way up her side. Otherwise she looks like a regular normal. Could she have other genetic her influences that are only showing up now? For reference, she’ll be turning 6 this August.

Wild types have a ton of variation, so its possible shes still a wild type :) ive seen a lot of them with gold blushing up the sides like that. If you like you can submit a photo of her and i can let you know for sure :)

I think now that I've gotten a good look at cecil in is full adult coloration he's just a single gene champagne? Any help would be appreciated!

Okay Snexperts

So far out of the eggs I have three Cinnamons and a YB. What I can’t tell is if the YB also has something else going on, because the upper half of his body has Cinny markings, but the lower half doesn’t. What do you guys think?

Could someone help me ID the morphs of these two guys? I bought the pair off of someone who was trying to cut back on their gecko collection. Nova has the same pattern all over her body and Orion is all that bright orange color except the end of his tail. Their original keeper (who was more into snakes and didn’t know much about the morphs) said she thought Orion was a tangerine something and Nova was maybe a bell albino?? I can provide more pics too!

If you don’t know it would still be awesome if you could give this post a boost! I’m SUPER curious!

A few words on identifying anaconda morph hognoses: Because the anaconda morph has a wide range of expressions it can be difficult to tell a low expression conda from a normal patterned snake. Most (but not all!) anacondas have a solid black belly, but "normal" patterned hogs can also have a solid black belly so this is not the best indicator of whether or not you've got a conda. The BEST way to indenting an anaconda is to look at the sides of the snake. If you see a (mostly) unbroken light stripe separating the belly scales from the side pattern you've got a conda! Sometimes this is the only way to distinguish a low expression anaconda from a normal. I've included two pictures of this feature because it is variable. The top animal is a high expression anaconda and the bottom is a low-mid expression anaconda. The top animal has a mostly black belly but it is broken into checkers in some places. The bottom animal has a solid black belly! Hopefully this helps some!

[submission] Heather help I grabbed this baby at Trade Days. Do you know what morph he is? He’s tucked in my bra atm and I have stuff to set up an enclosure at home. I had to grab him because I know they were going to release him in the bushes because everyone was afraid of him and they were all rednecks /: (I have 2 other snakes that are in great care! I felt confident taking this baby). They said he was a bumblebee?

Hi! I asked you yesterday if you knew anyone who could identify my gecko’s morph, so here she is! She just shed and I haven’t removed the skin on her toes yet so don’t worry about that. I thought she might be a RAPTOR or something? But I have no idea, thanks in advance!

Hello again! :D  Alright, so I can say for sure that you don’t have a RAPTOR.  That includes the eclipse gene, which is pretty visible. Firefly has a nice example of an eclipsed eye.

Your gal is definitely an albino though.  I can’t say for sure which strain because they can all be phenotypically identical.  She also is carrying the super hypo gene. You could call her a super hybino.

So her full morph (as far as I can tell) is: albino (unknown strain) super hypomelanistic tangerine baldy.
