So uh...yeah I have a new hyperfixation.

It's @mable-stitchpunk 's book 'A Fool's Endeavor' It's a fucking fantastic novel that fills me with so much joy. Like, this is the first book I have been able to actually read in years and I goddamn love it. So I did the logical thing and showed that love through making far too many memes. However these are my favorites.

Morrick: Yeah, you!

Finn: Can I help?

Morrick: Shut up for a moment, I'm being serious. I feel like I've seen you before.

Finn: I doubt that, I'd definitely remem..ber.. (he trails off in embarrassment)

Morrick: Yes! You were there when the explosion went off!

Finn: I have no idea what you're talking about.

Morrick: Oh, it's all coming back to me now.

Finn: I think someone's calling me.

Morrick: Yes, I was just about to be thrown out when you made up a ploy to fool the guard into thinking I was with you.

Finn: Could be Kenny, might be important...

Morrick: I believe I called you 'my knight in shining armour'! Oh, come on, drop the act, it's boring. I know you know me.

Finn: And I would rather that everyone else didn't.

Morrick: Senstive subject? (beat) You don't have to worry about me. My lips are sealed.

The Seige begins with an explosion. Green, just like the one at the métier ball. And the explosion comes from the last shipment brought in by Rogue Five.

Morrick is paid off a large sum by outside sources to plant explosives in with the latest alien technology supply drop. To which, he gladly agrees. His guilty conscience is what later leads him back to Zella and helping to fight for the cause.
