coco is the one who first asked him out and kissed him too. prior to that, she was adamant about not wanting a relationship and casper wasn't going to push her into it. they became close friends and they even dated other people in this time, which got them into some toxic situations because they continued operating in exactly the same way they did before and didn't really care how their relationship looked to other people. their respective partners were never going to take first priority and everyone knew that. at a certain point coco was just like "there are a lot of reasons why this might not work, but what we're doing now is really stupid and i would rather go all in and fail than live a life of half truths" and casper was like "fucking finally <3"

fun fact, this is why i chose when harry met sally to play on the tv during casper and coco's first real conversation

I saw your post about Rogue Trader and now I simply MUST know ALL of your thoughts on any and all Owlcat games you’ve played or are playing. I don’t care if it’s a 5k word essay, I will gladly read it.

(And I do mean that. I played 330.5 hours between the two Pathfinder games just last year, and I’m SO FUCKING CLOSE to being done with Rogue Trader. I literally just have the final “dungeon” left. The obsession with owlcat rpgs is strong right now.)

You can be honest if you didn’t like certain parts or characters. Most importantly I need to know your thoughts on Chapter 4 of WotR if you got there. It’s my favorite part of the game but both people I’ve introduced to the game hate it, and I can’t tell if I just got unlucky with my friends opinions (/lh) or if I actually have an unpopular opinion.

Oh, and I need to know what your build was/is for the games, who you romanced, and who your favorite companion is from each.

honestly morri, i am the absolute worst when it comes to owlcat games 😭 i started pwotr like a year ago and never picked it back up bc i got fixated on cyberpunk 😫😫😫

i'm kind of impatient and not used to the slower-paced classic crpgs tbh. i'm definitely better-equipped to focus on them now than i was a year ago, though, but i'm still being bad-- i just started pillars of eternity and was enjoying it but the slow pace is hard for me, and i tried not to get distracted but then i started rogue trader 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️

i do think rogue trader has prob gripped me the most from the get-go out of all of them. idfk what's going on with the lore though, i think i need to watch a video essay 💀

i did really like the pathfinder lore actually & loved the cc. i def plan on going back to that game eventually as i rly like my char! i was playing a moroi-born dhampir slayer, and she's a deliverer of calistria (as soon as i read ab that goddess i was like love this diva 💗). she's gonna romance daeran and go trickster mythic path.

in rogue trader, i'm playing an operative crime lord from a hive world. she ran a thieve's guild & was captured/tortured. im focusing on tech and intelligence but also want her to be persuasive, so i threw in fellowship and plan on going strategist. she's gonna romance heinrix and is iconoclast !!🔫

For Manon, because the more I learn about her, the more obsessed I am:

What does your OC lie about?

What's the longest grudge your OC has ever held? Against whom and why?

Manon is and was a pathological liar. she's gotten much better about it but she still has to fight the instinct to lie about *everything.*

The biggest lie she still tells is about how she became immortal. She tells everyone that she learned it from her mentor, Aurelius, who was part of a secret religious sect who had discovered the philosopher's stone (true). But he actually refused to teach her because she was deemed too unstable / untrustworthy. he's dead now though and nobody will ever know the truth, which was that she learned it from a dark sorcerer ^_^ this was in her 30s when she was in her dark magic arc (tm)

Her longest grudge ever is against Mischa, a girl she grew up with. Manon always envied her, and they were friends for a while until Mischa betrayed her and left Manon to take the fall for a prank they pulled - only to then bully her for fessing up to it. Then in their teens-20s, the love of Manon's young life, Nikolas/Nicolo refused to marry her, claiming he never wanted to marry at all - but in fact he was engaged to Mischa. Manon never forgave her for stealing her love, and even when Mischa claimed she wanted to be friends again, she still resented her for it. In Manon's 70s-80s, Mischa popped back up again to visit her. But unlike Manon, who was immortal atp, Mischa has aged a lot and seemingly had forgotten the slights she'd done manon. She even forgot Manon's name. Manon realized that even though Mischa had ruined her life, Manon had never meant anything to her, even as a rival or enemy, and Manon was so betrayed by Mischa's lack of respect for her that she murdered her <3

as a twin myself, I totally understand Nolan and Reagan's relationship, hahahaha. Me and my sister aren't often on the best of terms, but we do care about each other. She is absolutely the Reagan in our relationship, though.

anyways, I just wanted to say that I'm loving tjf so far! Your writing is phenomenal. All your characters have such distinct voices and strong personalities. Not to mention the fucking GORGEOUS visuals!!

Ahhh, I can only imagine how...taxing that could be for you. If she's anything like Rea, she must be a handful! LOL

Ultimately, as I'm sure you know, it's all love, even when they're at each other's throats. The twins tend to balance each other out, but sometimes they'll act as a mirror for one another and force each other to confront the parts of themselves they may not be too happy about. (This just happened to be one of those times. Sorry, Nolan.)

But thank you for your kind words and granting me some encouragement in a time where I really needed it! It's been a little weird trying to get back into the simblr game, and sometimes, I feel so rusty and out of touch. Plus, translating a novel to The Sims always comes with its own set of challenges. So it makes SO excited that you've been enjoying it and I hope you continue to! We're in for a bumpy ride, but I promise the destination will be worth all the strife along the way LMAO
