Morrisons - Apple & Cinnamon Hot Cross Buns
I tried these alongside the Waitrose ones for a comparison, and they couldn’t have been more different.
For starters, where is the apple? It says on the packet there are apple pieces, but I didn’t find any evidence. The cinnamon is subtle but you can taste it for a change.
If I ate these without looking at the packet I would have guessed they were just extra fruity hot cross bus. They are nice to eat, but I’m marking them down because they don’t taste of apples.
