✍️ (I had to do it, the thought of them being drawn together is too precious)

((This uh took forever but I did it! I did the thing! I used a scene from our last thread for this.Shading was a pain in the ass and I could have left it unshaded but as I have applied for an art college I want a more recent piece and true reflection of my work for my portfolio to show them so! I spent. A long time getting this to as close to perfect as I possibly could. 

Hands though. Hands. I still suck at hands. Meh. The feet came out okay though-))

“What am I doing?” The Zoni whispered to himself as he ducked into a supply closet, just barely avoiding being seen by guards that patrolled the ward. “Ok Orvus, just relax, you can do this.” After taking a few moments to calm himself he slowly opened the door to check if the corridor was clear and then continued on his way. 

Though as he silently floated through the ward he couldn't keep himself from examining his surroundings, his eyes immediately drawn to the strange looking medical equipment he couldn't quite place a name to. “Oh goodness, I hope my counterpart is doing alrigh-”

But then the god suddenly fell silent as he finally came to the door at the end of the corridor, immediately recognizing the sound of his interdimensional twin’s voice. Without so much as a warning he barged into the room. “There you are! I heard the news from Sigmund, are you alright?!”

Finally, Orvus got a new outfit! No more of that hoodie and cape thing!

Now, I know what you’re thinking: “Amber, why the hell is Orvus wearing a bandana? He’s not a hoodlum or some cool kid”, and you’re right, it is weird for him to be wearing a bandana. But the reason I gave it to him was a headcanon I came up for him.

The two ring markings on his head symbolize that he’s an independent Zoni, and therefore part of the line of leader Zoni. Because of his failure at protecting the Great Clock, Orvus does his best to keep those markings covered until he can redeem himself as a leader. The only time he uncovers them is when he goes to bed or simply wants the item on his head off.

Besides, I think he looks kinda cute in it. Also, no, he’s still not putting on shoes. These black sock things are better than those black bands, though.

Darkwater only stared at the other, unable to form any words. This couldn't have been the Zoni he once knew. 

“What happened t’ ya?!” The captain finally blurted out, his expression twisting into one of horror and confusion.

“Good morning!” Orvus’ chipper voice broke through the silence after he teleported into Mortal’s current motel room in a flash of blue. “I wanted to check in and see how you were doing since your discharge from the hospital. Are you doing alright?” He questioned, though his eyes began to wander around the room in slight curiosity.

It certainly looked like a cheap room, even if it was neat it didn't exactly look clean. How did his counterpart stand it? “How are your injuries?”

“What-” 

Orvus’ head was spinning, the world around him a blurry and bright pain. Once the god was able to compose himself his vision began to clear, but he could not recognize where it was he had ended up. However that would be the least of his concerns, he could not even recall how he had gotten to this new destination. The last thing he could remember was going about his daily duties before a bright light swallowed him whole. Beyond that? Nothing. 

But the zoni could not simply sit here and wait for help that would never come. No, now was the time to be proactive and collect potentially useful information about his new environment. 

“Hello? Is anyone here?” He called out, quickly growing worried that he may have been totally alone.

Clank paused when he found himself in Orvus’ arms, unsure of how to react. True this wasn’t exactly his father, but this was a version of him. That made him family. Finally the small machine wrapped his arms around the other, giving him a smile. “I am glad to have found you.”
