ajkldaksdjg oh my god we hadn’t even considered this concept but thats absolutely fucking hilarious and im dying at the concept. in the original au concept it was booker running a coffee shop pretty much alone until nile basically hires herself for him. theres a chess table in the cafe and joe and nicky are regulars who play together despite never meeting face to face (the plot twist is they Have met face to face but they don’t realize that their mysterious chess friend is also their acquaintance through their mutual friends quynh and andy and they lowkey full out hate each other and im just picturing all of this but they’re still immortals and im dying
