Steve was THANKFUL that Jamie had taken over the planning for the wedding, had she not he would have driven himself CRAZY with the stress.There was a lot of planning that went into a wedding and while he didn’t need anything fancy, he wanted the wedding to be PERFECT. He trusted Jamie so he left it in her very capable hands.
He was NERVOUS, a case of pre-wedding jitters. It was COMPLETELY NORMAL but he didn’t have any sort of second thoughts. Marrying Bucky was something he wanted to do. They DESERVED this happiness more than anything. Life had been too cruel to them and he’d be damned if he let ANYTHING ruin this wedding. The world would still spin, life would go on. Just one day to have this wedding was all he asked for. Then the rest of the world could depend on them again.
Steve looked up when he heard Bucky, being brought of nervous thoughts, he smiled brightly. All big and full of happiness. Everything they had been through, it was all WORTH IT to finally be able to have this moment.
“Ready as I’ll ever be. I’m a bit nervous though, can’t help but think something’s going to go wrong and the entire thing will fall apart.” He wasn’t afraid to make his worries known, he always told Bucky when he was concerned or stressed and this was one of those moments.
