Hey everyone! In celebration of #worldgothday here's a throwback to Anime Blue's Con 2017, where I wore anime's Best™ goth girl, Misa Amane! 💀✒️📖🥀 . Misa-Misa was the first cosplay I ever put together, and I wore her to my first anime convention (MTAC 2011) when I was only 16 years old. I thought her character was adorable, and tragic, and I absolutely loved her goth style and bubbly personality when I saw her in Death Note, the first anime to really hook me into watching anime. . Over the years, I've changed up her costume some - I've made it look nicer, and though it's still not perfect, I love this cosplay all the same. I've worn this same gothic lolita dress to several cool places where I've had amazing times with friends. Needless to say, I pull my Misa-Misa cosplay out once every couple of years or so. One of these days, I'll finally do her up proper, wig and shinigami eyes and all, and I'll do her justice with an amazing photoshoot 📸 . Misa Amane and Death Note will always have a special place in my little weeb heart. The place where I love black and lace and find death to be... Intriguing. The place where a young teenager couldn't quite figure out who she wanted to be, but could identify with the cute, tragic, sweet goth lady on the screen.
