I found photographic evidence while going through old harddrives! I was starting to doubt that I actually got “Most Unique” as a Senior Superlative - because people kept questioning it or something. But. As you can see - I did. XD

Also I was in FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). Ha. Haha. I liked the teacher, is why. Just look at that picture: Two cheerleaders, and me. Wearing all different shades of red, including corduroy pants and a bandana in my hair. Very Businesslike.

And another page with ... a bunch of cheerleaders. And me. I dunno why I’m on that page, but I contrast nicely with them, anyway. With my pink tie-dye shirt, orange mandala tank top, pink bandana (I love bandanas, can you tell?), super-long feather earrings from a Ren fair, and butterfly necklace.

Yes, I dressed like that most everyday. Actually these are all pretty tame - I had platform rainbow sandals, and black platform boots, and hats inherited from my great-grandmother, and insane amounts of sparkly colorful jewelry (most made by my grandmother), and sequined shirts, and rad thrifted dresses from the 70s, and the occasional feather boa or rubber snake wrapped around my shoulders. I wore my mom’s prom dress to my junior prom - she made it herself, and it was 1971 I think? And it’s this floor-length orange-and-purple paisley dress. I adore it.
