As we progress in our game, things are getting harder for everyone. But those afflicted with Lycanthropy are finding it harder and harder to control their form as Sonia's rage is mirrored onto them. Jean is no stranger to weaponizing his rage. He's no stranger to being a weapon or to having to walk himself down from PTSD episodes and panic attacks. He has the tools, he just forgets how to use them sometimes. In a moment of fear, that he'd hurt those he cared about, he ran off into a building that smelled of death and decay and tried to walk himself back from the brink of transforming. He failed. He transformed. But he still maintained his sense of self. He stumbled out looking guilty and ashamed, expecting to find everyone having cleared out. Instead, he found Loïc waiting for him and Kyale waiting to step away once he'd come out. This helped ease his mind. And as soon as he thought, "Oh man, I don't want to scare the villagers in this form. Fuck." he realized he was able to change back.

In hindsight, maybe sharing the most cramped studio apartment in Los Angeles with two of your exes might have been the best idea. But it’s not, as Mark’s younger brother claims “totally messed up” (it’s not like Julian can judge anyways.) Kieran and Cristina get along! A little too well, sometimes, if he’s being honest. Besides, it helps them all make rent, which means not moving back in with their (impossible) families, and it’s good to come home to someone who understands your problems, even if those problems involve headshots, agents, and having your hair done a different way every week until the hairspray is an inherent part of your scalp. On the downside, they’re crowded enough to have seriously considered investing in a three person bunk bed, on the upside, LA is a great place to be young and reckless in.
