The whole point of his story is Akechi is the Deuteragonist and he and Akira/Ren are two sides of the same coin. He's the 'There But For The Grace Of God Go I' reflection of what the Protagonist could be. Indeed, the Protagonist shows multiple instances of similarities with Akechi and vice versa, it's why they form such a strong understanding and connection. Their competitive dance around each other displaying how they're both still so young, juggling more than either of them can manage, and without the extreme external manipulations they'd be the most equipped to help each other grow. every once in a while i listen to come what may and without fail it fucks me up for the rest of the day. idk what it is about that song that makes me want to down a bottle of wine and lie face down on my bed but it manages it every goddamn time.

You know, a coworker and I were having a conversation about hobbies today -- in that we mostly go to work, and then go home to sleep, because we're so worn out everyday. I told her I do find time to write! Lol

So, yeah, writing is a hobby as well as a passion! I do write original fiction, too (though I haven't had time lately).

I love reading -- I'm trying to do that more because of my job.

I play video games -- love things like Zelda and Skyrim. Or sometimes I'll mindlessly play old school mario.

I do like cooking, but I'm not as experimental with it because I'm so tired all the time.

And... something I haven't got to do in a while because I'm pretty poor -- is travel. I used to travel all the time, and I don't so much anymore.

And, I mean, I like watching movies, tv, listening to music. I love deconstructing stories and seeing and analyzing how they work, so there's that, lol.

1. If it could have treated mental illness as sensitively as Legend of Korra did, that would be good.

2. If they could have pointed out that Azula was 14 years old and her relationship with her father was just as messed up as Zuko’s (in a different way but still just as messed up), that would be good too. I love that she’s a competent villain, and I don’t want to make her nicer or anything, but just…acknowledging that she was another kid who’d been messed up would have made the whole thing a lot better. Because like…obviously they had to stop her from helping Ozai in his rampant imperialism and unprovoked attacks on all the other nations obviously they did, but then someone had to like…help her? Because…she’s a child and she’s had to live with Ozai all her life and nobody’s helped her yet?

3. There was that one scene where Iroh pretends to be paralysed so he can put his arm around an unconscious girl. Who…which scriptwriter thought that was funny, who let that through?? To make a character who’s supposed to be a mentor figure, who’s supposed to be saying wise things that we’re supposed to listen to, a role model, grab an unconscious woman. That’s…that’s terrible, he never does anything else like that, he speaks to people with respect, and not even any other character does something so creepy…I generally pretend it didn’t happen because it’s so weird, but I’m mentioning it now because ???? why did you think this was a great joke that had to be included I do not understand?????

I've been back and forth on getting Veilguard for weeks now. The consensus I've seen has largely been divided between anti-fans calling it awful, mega-fans having an amazing time, and everyone in the middle saying it's good but mostly being glad for Dragon Age fans to have a good game.

And I'm not that big of a dragon age girlie, so! I just keep going: hmm...Hmm? hm.
