Scarecrow x Reader || Cooking for you
First off, Just the idea of Jonathan cooking southern food for you. He makes amazing breakfast, lunches and dinners. His eggs don't seem to be made different than those at a diner, yet they taste amazing and super savory, especially with a little cheese and hot sauce. His sandwiches are made with homemade bread slices (did I mention he likes to make bread??), fresh ham and turkey, the good brand of pepper jack cheese and homegrown tomatoes. It's heavenly. Chicken fried steak is one of his specialties. He seasons it just right™ and its freshly fried in a secret recipe of spices and flour
ALSO--eating the food with him, he likes it when you both eat together and will drop whatever he's doing to cook for you if given the sad eyes. He actually really enjoys cooking, and doesn't mind making you food, and would be happy to cook things from your childhood or your favorite dishes, even if he's never made it before. He will learn! (and happily, this man loves to read up on recipes)
